Initiating an Environmental Community : Finding Solutions to environmental problems On the Steemit platform

Environment are all external factors that affect an organism, these factors are divided into 2 organisms. Namely in the form of living things (biotic factors) and non-living (abiotic factors).

The environment as a unitary space with all objects, forces, conditions of living things, including humans and their behavior, then affects nature itself. In ecology, nature is seen as a network of interrelated living systems or what is called an ecosystem.
Broadly speaking, the human environment can be classified into 3 (three) types:

A. Physical environment

The physical environment is everything around us in the form of inanimate objects such as houses, vehicles, mountains, air, sunlight and so on.

B. Biological environment

The biological environment is everything that surrounds humans in the form of living things other than humans themselves, such as animals, plants, micro-organisms (plankton) and others.

C. Social environment

The social environment is another human being around him such as neighbors, friends, co-workers and others.

The environment plays an important role in healthy life and the existence of life on planet earth. Earth is home to many species of living things and we all depend on the environment for our survival. We need food, air, water and other necessities.

Today's environmental problems are increasing and it is important to find a solution immediately. If solutions to these environmental problems are not found, then the sustainability of human life on earth will be worrying. This is because nature is a source of fulfilling all the needs of human life, namely providing air, water, food, medicine, aesthetics, and others.

I will try to review some environmental issues below.

1. Pollution
   Pollution of air, water and soil takes millions of years to return to normal. Meanwhile, water pollution is caused by oil spills, acid rain, and urban runoff. Soil pollution is mainly caused by industrial waste which destroys nutrients and nutrients in the soil that are important for plants.

2. Climate change
   Climate change such as global warming is the result of human practices such as emission of greenhouse gases. Global warming causes the temperature of the oceans and the earth's surface to increase, causing the melting of polar ice caps and rising sea levels. As a result of these weather changes, agricultural production often experiences crop failures and increases the chance of forest fires due to a prolonged dry season.

3. Population
   Overpopulation. The planet's population is reaching unsustainable levels as it faces shortages of resources such as water, fuel and food. Population explosion in developed and developing countries that continues to cause resource scarcity. Intensive agriculture which aims to increase food production by using pesticides actually creates new problems. The damage is in the form of a decrease in soil quality and human health.

4. Natural resource depletion
   The use of fossil fuels, such as petroleum, creates global warming and climate change. now Globally, many parties are starting to switch to using renewable resources, such as solar electricity, biogas, solar cars, which are implemented by developed countries. Although in the short term, the installation of equipment for this environmentally friendly technology facility will look quite expensive, but in the long term it will be very cheap compared to the use of fossil energy which is still old.

5. Waste disposal
   The next environmental downside is waste disposal. this is often chiefly plastic waste and concrete waste. additionally to family waste, waste from the commercial sector that is commonly drop into streams additionally causes fish to die and damages the river scheme. In fact, these rivers ar vital for the community's economy and vital to produce food sources for the community. Disposal of this waste can eventually cause marine pollution in Indonesia and injury marine ecosystems, a supply of fisheries. No slighter is that the disposal of nuclear waste. Disposal of nuclear waste poses tremendous health hazards, particularly from radiation. low-cost plastic, fast food, packaging, and e-waste threaten human well-being.    Human activities cause the extinction of species and habitats and therefore the loss of diverseness. 9. Genetic manipulation
