The day before I went to Chandpur, Bangladesh, a few days ago and had the good fortune to visit some of the famous places there. Today I will share with you Shahapur Chowdhury Palace, located in Shahapur Village of Shahrasti Upazila of Chandpur District. It is quite an old and archaic place. Its famous sight is a building called Aadhaar Manik. Actually, I go to see this Aadhaar, or Andhar Manik.

I first reached Shahapur by rickshaw, and from there I walked a little to reach the main door of the building or house. This house is old but still charming. Small brick wall and front door of the old period. Once upon a time, there were many beautiful terracottas here, which have now been lost to the evolution of time. Surviving as a witness to the olden days covered in weeds.

There is an old temple just inside. Since it is a shrine, it has been painted a little. A little later is a wall. Old reddish brick is a beautiful wall. Next door is the new house of the Chowdhury family.

The house is very beautiful. Opposite it is the famous building, Andhar Manik. The building is very beautiful. It is in disrepair but seems to be quite strong. There is a small well inside that has a lot of history.

The Chowdhurys were landlords during the British Empire. Their subjects, who were unable to pay taxes, were thrown into darkness. There, people often died from hunger, thirst, and insect bites. This well has a very cruel history.

And after the end of their landlordship, many ghostly events have been seen happening around this well-built building. I have no desire to be friends with ghosts. I had my cousin with me. His former haunt was this ghostly place. my cousin told me, one night, when he came to this house, My brother saw some luminous white figures running around the building.

Let's talk about it. The house's entrance door is currently closed with a strong iron door, so I could not show the inside view. Once, I also used to come to this abandoned building and hide on its roof and play cards. The interior is home to bats, is very smelly, and is home to weeds and snakes. I have never seen anything so terrible except two or four venomous snakes.

There is a small hut on the side of the building. As far as I know, it is the place where the guards hang out.In fact, in ancient buildings, the mind actually becomes known. I feel like I'm walking like Marco Polo, the famous tourist among ancient kings. In fact, these ancient structures require proper maintenance on an urgent basis.
