My holiday in Lisbon!!!

Hello everyone! Today I want to tell you about my trip to Portugal, which I took in 2019. It was a last-minute organised trip, but it was still unforgettable.

My main destination was Lisbon, the beautiful capital of Portugal. I have to say that Lisbon is a very cheap city, especially compared to other European cities, which is exactly why I decided to visit it.

Lisbon is a city very similar to many cities in southern Italy. The narrow streets, colourful buildings and vibrant nightlife are just some of the things that made me fall in love with this city. It is a very special place.

However, I must make a small point. If you decide to visit Lisbon, I recommend doing so in spring or autumn. I visited this city in summer and the heat was really unbearable. So, if you do not want to suffer the heat, avoid visiting in the middle of summer.

Despite the heat, I still did many activities during my holiday in Lisbon. I visited the famous Tower of Belem, the Monastero dos Jeronimos, the Castle of St George and many other tourist attractions. Each place has its own unique history and beauty, and all are worth visiting.

But the thing I liked most about Lisbon was the general atmosphere. I met fantastic people, tasted delicious Portuguese pastries and spent unforgettable evenings in the city's clubs.

Furthermore, I must say that Lisbon is a very popular city for tourists from all over the world. During my holiday, I met people of different nationalities, which made my trip even more interesting.

In summary, if you are looking for a cheap and fascinating destination for your holiday, Lisbon is definitely an excellent choice. Just remember to avoid summer if you don't want to suffer the heat and to fully enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of this wonderful city.

During my trip to Lisbon in 2019, I had the opportunity to visit the famous Cabo da Roca, one of the most suggestive places in Portugal. Located about 40 km northwest of Lisbon, near the city of Sintra, this place is a real treasure to discover.

Cabo da Roca is known as the westernmost point of continental Europe. It is located on a cliff about 100 meters high, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The landscape that can be admired from here is simply breathtaking: the crystal-clear water of the ocean, the sheer cliffs, and the strong wind create a unique atmosphere.

Unfortunately, when I visited this place, I was not very lucky with the weather, as I found bad weather and a lot of wind. However, I could not resist the beauty of the place, and I was enchanted by the majesty of the cliff and the strength of the ocean crashing against it.

There are some nature trails that allow you to explore the surrounding area, and the real protagonist of the place is the lighthouse, a symbol of the area that can be visited to admire an even more suggestive panorama. The Cabo da Roca lighthouse was built in the 18th century, and has been the protagonist of many historical events, including World War II.

In summary, if you are planning a trip to Portugal, you cannot miss Cabo da Roca. This place is a real gem of the country, and the beauty of the landscape, the unique atmosphere, and the history that you can breathe here make it an unforgettable experience.
