Resulta que llegue a la ciudad de Progreso, Yucatán, México y en ese lugar existe una playa también bien bonita, que pronto les escribiré concretamente sobre eso. Dentro de todo lo bello en este lugar se encuentra el muelle más largo del mundo, es demasiado grande el muelle que se podia ver de diferentes ángulos. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer este muelle en persona y recorrerlo en diferentes horas del día, sus aguas son del Golfo de México. El muelle tiene más de 80 años en funcionamiento y fue construido de acero inoxidable, su construcción fue un gran reto por el tema de la corrosión del agua salada, el gobierno quería algo funcional que durará mucho tiempo en condiciones extremas, altas temperaturas, el agua salada, el oleaje del mar. Durante todo el día llegan embarcaciones, tiene la capacidad de recibir grandes cruceros y es un gran lugar para el intercambio comercial del pais.

It turns out that I arrived in the city of Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico and in that place there is also a beautiful beach, I will write about it soon. Among all the beauty in this place there is the longest pier in the world, the pier is so big that you could see it from different angles. I had the opportunity to meet this pier in person and walk it at different times of the day, its waters are from the Gulf of Mexico. The dock has been in operation for more than 80 years and was built of stainless steel, its construction was a great challenge due to the corrosion of the salt water, the government wanted something functional that would last a long time in extreme conditions, high temperatures, salt water, the swell of the sea. During the whole day ships arrive, it has the capacity to receive large cruise ships and it is a great place for the commercial exchange of the country.

Siempre que miraba al horizonte de la playa podía ver los arcos del muelle y en la noche cambia el panorama completamente porque le agregan protagonismo. Cada vez que veía camiones de carga pasar sentía una emoción inmensa. El muelle es imponente, es una gran obra arquitectónica del hombre, estoy sumamente sorprendido por la grandeza de México. El muelle más grande del mundo se encuentra en México y es una cosa impresionante.

Whenever I looked at the horizon of the beach I could see the arches of the pier and at night the panorama changes completely because they add prominence. Every time I saw cargo trucks passing by I felt an immense emotion. The pier is imposing, it is a great architectural work of man, I am extremely surprised by the greatness of Mexico. The largest dock in the world is in Mexico and it is an impressive thing.

La vista del muelle en la noche es totalmente diferente porque se ilumina y es un duro protagonista en la bella oscuridad del mar. Tome el atardecer y el anochecer por supuesto que en diferentes momentos y lugares, pero es un muelle muy impresionante. Todas las fotografías son mías.

The view of the pier at night is totally different because it is illuminated and is a hard protagonist in the beautiful darkness of the sea. Take sunset and nightfall of course at different times and places, but it is a very impressive pier. All photographs are my own.
