For this theme I have chosen to show photos from nature from different places in Norway: Norway, Hardanger (west coast) and Vadsø (above the arctic circle)

RAVNEDALEN
These photos were taken in Ravnedalen, that is located only a few kilometers from the city center. It's a park, but it borders right up to natural surroundings of forests and mountains with a multitude of walking opportunities of different lenghts. The natural surroundings are wonderful, but so is the park, even though it's landscaped. The small cafe is very well known for having the city's best hamburgers. I've tasted one of them, but since I haven't tried many other burgers around town, I can't comment on that. It is said that the cafe has recipes that goes back at least a 100 years! Location

HARDANGER
Hardanger is the area in Norway that's located on the western coast f the country. The landscape is characterized by deep fjords and snowcaped mountains. It's synnomous with fruit. This is the fruit basket of Norway. During spring you will see thousand of fruittrees blooming. All the white flowers is quite a spectacular sight when blooming. Because of the contrast between the fjords and the high mountains, Hardanger offers spectacular and dramatic landscape. I was here in May. Location

THE NORTH-EASTERN CORNER OF NORWAY
My last two photos show some of the nature in Norway's north-eastern corner. The place is Vadsø. Up here in the north, nature is barren and the summers are short and cool. The Barents Sea is the closest neighbour. There are almost no trees that grow this far north of the Arctic Circle, but you can find flowers during the summer and there are lots of natural areas, which in their own way offer a harsh nature experience. Great choices! The photos from Norway, Hardanger, and Vadsø look absolutely stunning. Nature has a way of captivating us with its beauty.

Both places you mention are so different when it comes to landscape, but then they are far from each other. To me, both are spectacular places. I do hope to visit the northern parts again :)

Hi @digi-me, thank you for inviting me, I need to check if I have some nice photos. Looking at your it looks majestic the endless calm water surface with fjords and snow capped mountains, absolutely awesome. There are many nice places in Norway, I believe if I would visit it then definitely in summer, because I do not like cold and long nights :)

Hope you do manage to find some :) Even the west coast with it's deep fjords and snowcaped mountains are very different form the more flat, rocky and treeless arctic part of our country, both are spectacular. I do actually agree with you when it comes to which part of the year to visit :) In the north it's dark during the day in winter.
