Today is a day with good weather and the weather is very good where I am now is Borama town in Awdal region of Somalia

LEARN ABOUT BORAM CITY

Many people come to this place for sightseeing Borama is described as a region of knowledge because it is home to Amoud University, which has educated many people.Borama is near the border between Ethiopia and Djibouti.[2] This city has a population of more than 600,300 people according to the 2020 census. Borama is one of the oldest cities in Somaliland, it is the land that was ruled by the Adal rulers. The area where the city is located is a mountainous area, which makes it cold in winter.

Boorama is the educational center of Somaliland, there are many schools, colleges and universities; which caused Borama to be given as "home of education for the Somali people". Borama is home to the largest university in Somalia at the moment, Amoud University. In addition to this, Borama is the place where the clan agreements were established in northern Somalia after the civil war in 1991

In general, the city of Borama is known for its calm and peaceful atmosphere

The city of Borame is very good in terms of education, and it has quality schools and universities including Amud & Eelo Universities for the Horn of Africa. Borama is known as the Somali Home of Learning. Borama city is not only the capital of Awdal region but also the center of education. There are more than 100 primary, middle and high schools in the city. The most famous high schools in the city include: Al Aqsa High School, Sh. Ali Jawhar Secondary, Ubaya-Ibnukakab Secondary School, Hassan Ardaale Secondary School, Aayatin Secondary School, Waaberi Secondary School, Al Qalam Secondary School, Al Noor Secondary School and Adam Isaak Secondary School.

BORAMA ECONOMY

Borama's economy depends on livestock and agriculture. It is a city that strives for development. It also has a very modern hotel (Hotel Rays) which is the most beautiful hotel in Somaliland. It is good. In the city of Borama, the Somali shilling was stopped and exchanged for the currency of the Republic of Somaliland.
