Hello friends of Steemit Travel
On my short holiday in Puglia, I was lucky enough to visit another important town in Puglia, namely Monopoli, which is in the province of Bari.
*Apulia is really famous for these particular villages, made up of small streets full of shops and restaurants, I also shot a small short that you can see below, starting from the area near the sea and ending at the old port. *

What struck me about Monopoli was the liveliness of its inhabitants, very hospitable, and it is always that way, a local gentleman told me.
The best experience in my opinion for those who come here is to immerse yourself in these streets and follow the smells that surely lead you to the best restaurants.
I spent most of my time at the beach, the coastal strip here is more than 13 km long, and the water as you can see from the photos is crystal clear, so it is just impossible to resist and not take a swim.
The only downside, if you want to say, is that at this time it is really full of people, and in some cases it can get too chaotic.
I placed myself in these natural coves, a little bit sandy and a little bit rocky, and for those who love underwater excursions, here there is the possibility of exploring numerous caves that are underwater, sooner or later I will also have this experience.
Then you know what I like about the beaches of southern Italy, that you can decide how you want to go to the beach, there is no obligation to go to equipped beaches and pay, you can also choose free beaches as I did in this case.
I hope next time I will be able to take a nice boat ride, the short time available did not give me that chance.

How pity you didn't enough time to ride with a boat and keep exploring the area. It's very beautiful. I've seen similar zones with caves and clear water in articles of Portugal. It really worths to spend an excellent day like this. Outstanding post. 👍🏼
