A 24-hour journey and a father's joy@mostaqul-bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum. Hope everyone is well. I'm fine too. I am Md. Mostaqul Mozid. I live in Dhaka. I work at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). I am a member of BUET. I already completed all of my 6 Achievement tasks. I am presenting my new post.

My daughter studies at KUET. It is in Khulna. She called me and told me that her summer vacation would start so I come to take her.

It was 11 pm. I got the phone and booked the Greenline bus ticket online. My journey schedule is 19th May at 6.45 am. I woke up the next morning and booked the 18th May 12.45 am bus ticket again. But I could not drop my 19th ticket.

At 12.30 am, I arrived at the Rajarbagh Greenline Transport counter. As usual, the bus started its journey. I am traveling by bus at night after many days. There were a total of 15 passengers on our bus. But my daughter does not know that I will come by night bus.

The road is not less busy at night. Many vehicles are moving. Our bus does not stop. Our bus is going towards Khulna along the road of Mawa and crossing the Padma Bridge. I have a C.N.G. driver in Khulna named Azim Bhai. I called and told him I would get down at Royal Square in Khulna around 5 am. May he live at that time.

The bus stopped at Sampan Restaurant in Gopalganj Kashiani at 3 pm. I also got a little fresh. After a halt of 20 minutes, the journey started again.

I got down to Royal Square around 5 am. I saw Azim Bhai standing with the car. He started for KUET. We discuss many matters. I reached KUET at 5.30 am.

I did not tell the girl that I had arrived. Azim bhai and I had breakfast. Then I wandered around KUET. I told my daughter around 9 o'clock that I would come to the campus.

My daughter got ready. I took lunch with my daughter at zero point and started again by the 6 o'clock bus. Meanwhile, my daughter was shopping. When I go to Khulna, I bring some sweets from a sweet shop.

Again the bus stops at Sampan restaurant. We became fresh. Then the journey started again. We reached our home safely.

Because my daughter was coming home, for this reason, the 24-hour journey was not difficult for me. it filled my heart with joy. Parents are like that. Seeing the child's face forgets all the troubles.
