I heard that it was just taking hours, but then someone on Twitter said they had waited days. Those of us who can do it should be creating accounts. I can delegate to start them off.

Check on https://steemworld.org if you can claim accounts with resource credits. Then you can create accounts there. It uses Keychain to authenticate.
Checking your wallet you may not have enough. If you know anyone who needs an account give me a shout. My Gmail account is same user name as Steem as I need to mail them the keys.
