How are you? Hope so everyone would be safe and sound just like me as I am also safe Alhamdulillah...
3D printing is my today's topic to share with all of you guys so I would like to delve into its various aspects....
First of all I would like to give a brief introduction about 3D printing that basically what is this so this is a kind of negative manufacturing and it is a technology which is in its revolutionising phase which permits to create physical objects by the help of digital designing so this is a type of innovative phenomena which include layering of material like plastic, metal and ceramics for the production of different types and different sorts of complex shapes and structures.
If I talk brief about history of 3D printing then it's concept is very old and its concept was in 1960 but if I talk about first patent for this phenomena then it was granted in 1986 and after that with different advancements in field of technology was the leading cause of different improvements in quality speed and it's affordability.
If I talk about types of 3D printing technology then first it include fused deposition modelling, stereoithography, selective blazer sintering as well as binder jetting. Each and every technology have its own benefits and challenges which make them perfect for different applications.
If I move forward and talk about applications of 3D printing then these are in aerospace, automotive, in field of health and consumer products. It is used for enabling a quick prototyping, producing some of the complex geometrics and in customisation field.
3D printing comprises of different benefits which first of all include reduction in production time, more preciseness and more saving of cost. More than this it also permits for more suitable producing methods and for enabling the creation of complicated structures and all these are important regarding benefits of this procedure.
In any procedure even in anything in the world where there are benefits there are some challenges and limitations also present side by side so if I talk about limitations or challenges of this procedure then first of all their could be limitations in available material, after that scalability and regulatory issues can also be one of the most common problems. Last but not least there is a requirement of high initial investment so when you have to maintain cost then it restrict a diverse adoption.
As field of technology is growing so I can say that future of 3D printing is holding some of the immense promises because we can clearly see that there are development in material, science, artificial intelligence and robotics field so these potential applications include exploring space, organ printing and smart cities
If I talk about 3D printing impact at society then it has potential for transforming industries, creation of new opportunities for jobs, for improvement of health care if I talk about different concerns about intellectual property their privacy and their effect at environment then there is a need of addressing them.
If I conclude or sum up all of my points then this is a transformative technology that has a lot of potential. As it has continued its evolution then to address different limitations can be very essential to unlock it's potential and for revolutionizing different industries.
