How are you?Hope so everyone would be safe and sound just like me as I am also safe Alhamdulillah...
If I talk about my today's topic that I am going to share with all of you guys then it's about big data so let me delve into its depth!
If I talk about big data then it is defined as diversity of structured and unstructured information which different businesses and organisations create an collect each day. If I talk about this information source then these are various sources from which these information come including through social media,through sensors ,through mobile as well as many other sources.
If I talk about big data then it is all about describing sheer volume ,variety and velocity of data or information and it makes very tough for analysing and processing by the use of traditional tools important for processing of information.
If I talk about characteristics of big data through which it is different from traditional data then these are here;
• 5 V's are characteristics of big data in which there are volume,velocity ,variety,veracity as well as value.
If I talk about volume then this is defined as sheer amount of that data which is going to be generated or created.If I talk about velocity then this is that speed at which this data is being created. If I talk about variety then this is defined as types of data or quality of data which are going to be created.Veracity is defined as characteristic of showing that how much your data is precise and accurate. Last but not the least value is another characteristic which reflect benefits that can be derived from creative data!
If I talk about types of big data then these maybe categorised into structured, unstructured as well as semi structured types of data and if I talk about first type which is structured then as it is indicating by its name that data will be properly aligned and easy for searching like information or data provided by relational database.
If I talk about another type then this is unstructured data which is not properly aligned and it is also not easily available for searching out like we can take email and posts at social media as an example of it. Last but not least there are semi structured data that fall under the category of structured and non structured data and in between them most probably so as an example we can take XML files!
Next if I talk about big data analytics then this is defined as phenomena of examination and 2 analyse big data for the purpose of gaining and getting insights so that informed decisions may made so it includes uses of different techniques including mining of data, predictive analysis as well as machine learning. If I talk about mining of data then it includes to search different patterns and relations among large data sets.
Secondly there are predictive analysis which include usage of statistical models for the purpose of forecasting events related to future. Last but not least machine learning also exist which consist of training of algorithms so that predictions may be made and actions may be taken accordingly depending on the information or data.
If I talk about benefits of big data then they are multiple. If someone analyse big data then as a result organisations may gain insights that what about behaviour references as well as requirement of their customers so it helps in this way in development of product according to customer needs, advancements in strategies of marketing as well as customer service initiatives so big data maybe used for improvement of operational efficiency, enhancement of decision making as well as for reduction of expenses!
If I talk about limitations or challenges of big data then first of all it is important to manage and store such a vast amount of information that is being generated because it needs a lot of investment in infrastructure which include storing, power of processing as well as networking. Last but not the least the more there will be information or data store the more there will be concerns related to making it secure and more private!
If I conclude my topic then I have discussed about big data that which is this, some of their types as well as details of each and every time written there. Last but not least I have also discussed about benefits and associated challenges of big data.I invite everyone to must share your feedback at my post!
