Wireless charging technology is my today's topic to share.I would like to share about different aspects of it.
Wireless charging technology is revolutionizing in such a manner in which we are recharging our devices which eliminates requirements for cables and promotes ease, safety and reduction of clutter. This technology is innovate which is using electromagnetic induction for transferring energy in between a transmitter which is charging base and receiver which is device.
If I talk about wireless charging working on principle of electromagnetic induction was discovered by Michael Faraday in 1831. When alternative current is flowing by a coil in charging base it creates a magnetic field. This field is used for inducing an electromotive force in receiving coil within device used for conversion of magnetic energy into electrical energy.
There are different types of wireless charging technology which are Qi, Magnetic resonance charging and radio frequency I am going to share here.Inductive charging is first methodology that I am going to share which is most widely used and also used for supporting low power charging. Talk about magnetic resonance charging then it is used to support transferring of high power at long distance. Radio frequency charging is a sort of long range charging that is used to support diverse range of devices.
If I talk about advantages and applications then wireless charging is used for offering convenience in which there are no cables used for no charging cord loose. If I talk about wireless charging offers then it also over safety with reduce challenges of electrical shocks etc. if I talk about applications then in smartphone and wearable it has wide use as well as in electrical vehicles,medical implants, industrial automation and consumer electronic it has a lot of use.
If I talk about charging speed and efficiency then wireless charging speed may alter like there is low power which is suitable for small devices as well as if I talk about medium power that fall under the category of 15 what is suitable for smartphone and when I talk about electric vehicles then high power is used which fall under the category of 50 Watt.
Future wireless charging advancements include low range charging which is more than 10 m,high transfer of power which makes charging fast,multi device charging and integrity with other technologies like Bluetooth and wi-fi etc as well as increased efficiency and security.
