Week 2 Official Report of team True Colours 2

1. Overview – Another Little Problem But We Survived, Again

Sunday, December 8th saw us a good start of the second week, when we started the week by curating 6 posts and 20 comments that day.

All went well in week two until Thursday the 12th (day five of week 2) where by that day we had managed to curate 30 posts and 90 comments, that's an average of 5 articles and 18 comments per day. On the 12th there was an incident, which revealed the unpleasant fact that the results of the-gorilla's investigation an unfortunate incident involving one of our team members, making us lose him, leaving two members in the team.

What became a problem or obstacle for us next was, a few hours after the “incident”, we, as temporary holders of the 07 key found that the key we had was no longer usable. And checking through Steem World showed that the key had been changed on Friday at 12:45 PM UTC +7.

Joanna contacted us with the key on Saturday the 14th at 14:08 UTC +7, so then we can proceed with the report, although we lost 24 hours due the incident. Wakeupkitty later decided to vote after midnight as we found out the keys were changed. But after all, everything was perfect. And we hope that we have done a job that can be appreciated.

We have come to know cryptopie as a “persistent” commenter. We can expect long comments from him. This comment was chosen as the culmination of a series of comments written by him, starting from when he responded to an art article Some Art We Like From A Distance, where he made a long comment and followed by second comments in which he attached a dozen pictures that added value to the article he commented on, from those comments, a series of comments formed, and we chose this comment (the last one of the series) as one of our nominations this week.

frafiomatale breeds this rather lengthy piece by utilizing the parallel world theory often found in comics, which immediately shows his writing style that combines scientific ideas (including those that are still “fictitious”) with social reality (which is real), such as the manifestation of the mafia issue in Italian football, which makes his writing feel “strong” and relevant. The writing has a clear flow: frafiomatale starts from abstract theory, goes into social criticism, and ends with reflective questions. This helps the reader understand the message, in a framework that is easy to follow. This is an article (column) worth reading, especially for those who are interested in social issues and scientific theories.

An interesting short story about the struggles of a character named Peter, a boy in his teens. The story is concise and flows smoothly, helping readers understand Peter's inner conflicts, emotions and thoughts that led him to decide to become a vegetarian. Topics such as animal freedom, empathy for animals, and vegetarian lifestyle choices are relevant and touch on moral issues that many people consider, so it can be an interesting writing theme, because it not only presents a story but also invites people (readers) to discuss with themselves.

LinkAsimov's book "In the Beginning"

I -aneukpineung78 - happen to like Asimov, but that's not the most important reason I nominated this article. This article has an engaging and personalized flow, making the reader feel close to the experiences the author shares. The author begins his article with a warm greeting and continues to maintain that aura of closeness throughout the article. It brings the reader into the story of the discovery of Isaac Asimov's book and the author's personal reflections on the contents of the book. The facts about Asimov are delivered in a pleasantly admiring tone, showing the author's interest and respect for the legendary author's achievements. An article worth reading especially for Asimov fans.

pousinha wrote this commentary with a deep sense of skepticism towards global issues, especially those often highlighted in the mainstream media. He is commenting on an article written by italygame titled DIGITALY #66 - Official Magazine of the ITALY Community / Rivista ufficiale della Community ITALY. The author conveys opinions in a strong argumentative style, mixing social criticism, personal experience, and sarcastic humor. The ideas presented are complex, such as the relationship between climate change, politics, poverty, and social inequality, requiring the reader to think more deeply. The tone of the writing is full of emotion and the courage to question mainstream narratives, but still leaves room for self-reflection-such as the acknowledgment that seasonal changes do feel different from time to time. The humor at the end adds a fresh dimension and invites a smile, despite the serious topic.

Hi, @jiva34. How's Peter, by the way? 😀

  ·  4 days ago (edited)

That was a while ago. He's a young adult now and on his own. He is searching for meaning and purpose in life. The search has taken him to India. We're waiting to hear what he has found. He did send a postcard last month...
