Hello everyone! This is my first time beginning a year on #steemit, and I couldn't be happier and more grateful. I found #steemit when I was in a crisis in my office work, and my life and my way of thinking have changed a lot since the moment I started writing here, and even more when I began to develop tasks as a Country Representative from Argentina. As I always say: thank you, you are changing my life for good.
It has taken me some time to understand the dynamism of this ecosystem, but I am learning, day by day, and I really think that this month I have grown a lot!
My tasks
As Country Representative from Argentina, I develop activities in different communities and all of them have the goal to generate movement in #steemit, make people know how to use the platform, and create engagement (in #steemit, in the communities, and between the users).
Where you can find me?
- Writing and Reviews
- Steemit Nursery
- Newcomers Community
- Geography 🌎🌏🌍 Community (I've created this community as a new project for 2021)
- My own blog (here I share content from other users and I participate in the activities shared by @steemitblog).
Argentina on Steemit
The #argentinian users this month are:
In total, at the end of January 2021, Steemit had 36 Argentinians. 21 of them were dormant and 15, active.
Elaborated on Excel, by me.
Writing and Reviews activities (administrator)
- Inviting people to the community
- Reading the posts
- Organizing contests biweekly with (all of them about different topics)
- Reading the entries to the contests, evaluate them, and reward them
- Writing of the top post of the week twice a month, to give the members more visibility
- Selecting posts daily for the Steemit Community Support Program and writing posts weekly to share with all the platform the selected posts for the program
Writing and Reviews born in September, and we already have1370 members, with more than 10% of users actives. This number increases when we offer a new contest, especially if there are rewards from @steemcurator01 or @steemcurator02. But since the Steemit Community Support Program has begun, users show more commitment.
Thi is the quantity of users at February 3rd.
We have some very loyal members who really love writing, and who have been accompanying us from the very beginning, as @rypo01, @genomil, @warrenjemkis, @raquelsiso1, @davidfar, @alcidescadiz, @carlos84. We have so many more, and I can't name all of them right here, but these users are literally every week with us. Maybe they don't join every contest, but more than twice a week, they share great content in our community, from the start, so thank you!!
Steemit Nursery activities (moderator)
- Writing the community announcements weekly
- Updating labels in each member (newborn, kids, infant, toddler, alumni)
- Organizing contests that have #steemit as a central topic
I began with the project of running different contests in December and it has been very good received by the community. @anasuleidy and @randulakoralage decided to begin with contests too, so by now, we have been taking turns a week each.
The main goal of these contests is to make new users (olds too, but as this is a community that focuses on newcomers, I thought about them first) feel comfortable and to start to know the dynamism of the platform, especially the contests one.
Now, we have this scenario:
Last contest (it began yesterday)
Tutorial and contest: Vote and know your vote! / Tutorial y concurso: Vota y conoce tu voto!
Newcomers Community activities (Greeter Fairy)
- Greeting newcomers
- Update the announcements every week
- Update the status of members from Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Nigeria (No 51 - 80), Turkey, Ukraine, USA, UK, twice a month.
- Write the biweekly and monthly report (December) for the Steem Greeters Team, as a request from @cryptokannon (thank you, once again)
Greeting task
I have greeted 62 users this month (and curated with my account)
Elaborated on Excel, by me.

Geography 🌎🌏🌍 Community
I wanted to start this project because for me Steemit is the most global platform I have seen. Although there are many social networks that connect the world, this is the only one (at least that I know of), which allows constant interaction with people from other places, even without knowing them.
This community is a space to share aspects of each particular place where each of us was born, or of other places in the world of our interest.
The community has less than 2 months, and it's growing very fast, so I am very happy about that:
My tasks:
- Manage the entire community
- Selecting, daily, 5 posts for the Steemit Community Support Program
- Organize and vote contests each week. I offer 30 steem (total) as the prize
Video project
I'm sharing, in Steemit Nursery Community, videos weekly or every 10 days in Spanish, to motivate more people to join. I am doing this from the Crypto Be YouTube Channel. Because I don't have more time, I am going very slow with the project on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, but I am persistent in that, so it will work.

Curation with @steemcurator05
We have been rotating between the CR from Venezuela and Argentina, and we take care of this weekly, sometimes per 10 days, and sometimes twice a week. In general, I vote for 25 users each time.
Curation last week with my account
Thank you everyone for reading and for the opportunity of being part of these amazing teams!!
Special thanks to @steemitblog, @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, and @cryptokannon
