Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I present my 26th report as the Steem Representative.

It is yet another awesome week of work with heads high while trying to scale a balance between offline commitments and business as usual on Steemit. This has not been without some hitches but were all overcome with ease.

That said, below I will be talking about the different activities carried out across the platform within the above-stated period of time.

Steemit Promotion.

It was business as usual talking about Steemit to anyone that came close to me during the week. I often ensured I talked about steemit to anyone I came across not persuading them to join immediately because there is no needrushing to create a dormant account.

After spending about an hour discussing, all of them promise to do some researchand read more about Steemit before making up their minds to join. I assured them of my readiness to help them from account creation to guiding them on the platform to create quality content. I hope they take it seriously.

As usual, facebook is one of the platforms I used to promote Steemit because I have over 2.8k followers but unfortunately, there are lots of scammers on Facebook. It makes it difficult to gain the trust of my Facebook followers to sign up because they believe anything that has to do with cryptocurrency is fake. Most of them I approached were once victims of cryptocurrency scams on Facebook.

My WhatsApp status was not also left out as I often used it to promote Steemit to my WhatsApp contacts. Notwithstanding, the often-asked question from my status viewers is “…are you sure it is real”. My response was try it out and see for yourself if it was real.

Activities with Steencurator03 Account.

It was the 4th week of curating with the SC03 account. I had 3 days of curating and also prepared the Google sheet for team members to use and input data for our weekly reports. For the 3 days I curated a total of 81 posts as seen in the table.

I also guided one of the team members @max-pro who is a newcomer to community curation work. He is indeed a fast learner and easily picks up when guided.

I was in charge of writing the 4th report of the team. I worked together with the team and agreed on a selection of 7 best posts of the week for extra support. It was a fruitful week of curation with no major challenges encountered.

Activities in Steem Cameroon Community.

It is a routine that every week we meet online and discuss how to better manage the community. We agreed to keep on with the existing contests while trying to develop new contest ideas. We also discussed having a meeting with old and new inactive Cameroonian steemians and trying to pull everyone along. We believe “…we are stronger together”. So far, some of the old inactive members are back though their activities on the platform is timid.

I continued to hold a discussion with some of the inactive Cameroonian steemians and they promised to be back actively posting and engaging in the likes of @nsangou-rudolf, and @tanjong-miriam.

As a plagiarism leader and actively fighting all forms of abuse on the community, I had to ensure that content creators create quality content free from any form of abuse on steemit. No abuses of content was recorded. We hope steemians continues to be creative in ideas and create plagiarized free content and proper use of non-copyrighted images.

I also caution steemians especially newcomers about clicking on phishing links and operating 3rd party DApps. This is because they risk losing their Steemit accounts to hackers. I also informed them about “account recovery” within 30 days if not they stand to lose the account to hackers.

Content Creation.

If was indeed a busy week but I still stayed committed on the platform. I created a total of 5 posts including my weekly report.

I engaged with other steemians by commenting on my posts. I equally upvoted meaningful comments.

Support Other Content Creators with @chant Account.

I used my effective Steem power of over 55k to support steemians with quality content on the platform.

I did power up some liquid Steem to increase my steem power and supported other content creators for their hard work on the platform.

Preference was given to authors writing creative and quality articles across the platform. Over the week, I reached out to 89 accounts and upvoted 137 posts with a CSI score of 16.9.

At this juncture, I have come to the end of my presentation of my weekly activities report.

Regards!
