Weekly Report as Steem Representative, February 20th to February 26th, 2025

Hi, all fellow Steemians,

Good morning from India,

This was an eventful week on various fronts. I made a couple of changes in my online and offline schedule, although life didn't change much. As for online, it was just a routine writing assignment, as I see nothing in the SEC section where I can add anything.

Offline I am too busy with my directors and colleagues, and had it not been for an online virtual game on Steemit by @damithudaya, my activities could be even less. However, nothing has stopped me from writing my seven posts a week, and that includes a 9X dolphin post as well. Once again, the post went unnoticed as usual.

Sunday Power Up- I have 45K Plus Steem (9X Dolphins)

As I reported I am in a cyber detox process for the next few weeks, I am spending very little time online. However, I didn't miss a single day but still did all my routine work, like powering up and selecting newbies in my daily posts.

I didn't start another contest since my last contest brought no good result, so I have a feeling that users are not interested in theme-based contests in the travel niche but more in routine diary posts with the same photos, the same routine, and nothing that shows if they are involved in a job or study, which is neither travel blogging nor a life routine, in my humble opinion. I guess I must post contests in a different niche.

I usually like to write about travel, but I had no time to travel this week, so I mostly posted in fiction writing. As I reported last week, I made a change in my "Newbie Promotional Program." by raising the rank limit from 50 to 55, as I feel this will give me a little more liberty to select promising Steemians. This week I did something different as I set both my weekly beneficiaries in one post instead of my usual two since I was not sure I would have enough time.

I feel the Steemit team is making experiments, and they have come up with new ideas in this season, but I am not sure if any of these will work for me. As I can see, they have introduced another category in the learning season, having their own concerns with AI, but I still feel we need some normal writing contests to increase the engagement of the challenges.

I have already crossed the 45k Steem mark, as I powered up twice this week, I will do another power up within a day or two and move toward my next goal. I am well past 45K and moving towards my next goal.

Newbie Promotional Program

A New Initiative to help newbies

I am proud to announce once again that I supported as many newbies as I could through various methods, including setting them as beneficiaries in my posts every week, which helps them stay positive. I always vote for the best posts according to their quality and support them in my capacity as moderator and Steem representative.

As usual, my online and offline activities, including my offline social activities, did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 55 rank (revised), irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries, including rewarding one in my travel contest.

As usual, I spent some time with a couple of newbies on their or my posts. I feel like more and more newbies are getting in touch with me, and that's heartwarming when they are among them as they approach me.

I supported two more newbies, keeping them as beneficiaries in my one post for a change. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies because my "Newbie Support Program is working well, and I feel good when I see newbies feel motivated and respond happily through their comments.

Moderator Duty

I completed my weekly duty as moderator, which took a lot of my time but had too few real travel posts, but mostly diary posts. However, the travelers posting their travel experiences compensated for my time and efforts. It was a lot of work, but there was nothing worth mentioning.

Again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem. Once again, I am proud that as SR, I tried my best to support all good posts.

My Account Summary

This week my CSI is back to normal range of 10-15, as I supported all who need my support; however, this week I visited as many posts as I could. I did all my duties writing reports, moderation, and curation besides traveling kept me busy on other fronts as well.

I agree, I have lesser active posts at this moment but I haven't missed a single day posting and did enough posts this week, including the SR report, but I am not sure if I could post as many comments as I could, but I guess most of my comments in one contest. However, I participated in as many contests this week as I could.

Once again, I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.
