Dear Steemitblog,
Greetings, it my delight to write second week report as a country representative of Nigeria. It was a week filled with numerous fun activities, just to promote productivity and activeness in the platform.
I'd experience a challenge that drags me a bit backward during the week, but thanks goodness I've been able to resolved the issue. The problem was with my SIM card, I couldn't accessed the internet though I have active data. It was so frustrating since I wasn't active the way I suppose to be, but I went to their sub-office yesterday and the issue was resolved so I'm back with full force.
ATTENDING AFRICAN WOMEN VIRTUAL MEET-UP:
During The Week I attended a virtual meet up which was hosted by @ngoenyi with African Women. It was an interesting one, Women in the blockchain were given the opportunity to relates their challenges, and causes of inactivity in the platform with us. Some have network challenges, lack of electricity, lack of Data and lastly lack of motivation to write.
I personally encouraged them to write and become active in Steemit again, to try and join the engagement challenge of which they can earn big support. I encouraged them to write in other communities too, especially those ones with booming support, that they stood a chance of getting support as long as their post is of quality because some of those communities are looking for quality posts to summit for support everyday.
I also educates them on how to create quality contents, that the title of the post should be concise and captivating, then their cover image should be related to the title and should be land-scape. They should always proof-read their write up before posting it to avoid typo.
Also the should always make sure their words is up to 300, and paragraphing is very important for readability. Lastly I encouraged them to always Power up to remain in the club and to always use the correct club tag. The meeting lasted for 1 hour, we all shared our experiences and we all feels encouraged and refreshed at the end.
I'd initiated a mini fun contest the previous week to increased the level of Activities in the community, and truly the purpose of that contest was achieved. Users really find it interesting and they participated and engaged with others too, I received so many great entries and it was fun to learn about the reasons behind some usernames, many entries received support either from booming or Community's curators, I also voted on all the entries with my personal account, and also sent Steem power to some winners.
Here goes the contest winners announcement link
Also I was able to print our community's t-shirt during the week, the t-shirt is for Promotional purpose. It costs me 4,500 Naira to print it that's equivalent of 25 Steems with the current price of steem to naira as at the time I write this report.
I've organized a power up contest in this community the previous week to encouraged power up habit, and 6 users joined and all together powered up 251.266 Steems. I summit 3 winners posts for booming support and also supported some winners with Steempower. Here goes the winners announcement link
First of all I'm so grateful for the 5k SP delegation from the Steemit team, I mean I can now vote with 0.13 cent at 100% I'm so happy! I've been using this SP to support authors with good contents mostly my fellow Nigerians.
My Voting CSI is at 15.1 and I've been able to give 170 upvotes to 123 different accounts for the past week.
I'm sorry the 1.17% self vote is from campus connect curation trail.
I love power ups, so I always power up weekly to maintain my club75 status, it's my soul desire to become more dolphins🐬🐬🐬 soon so as such I don't joke with this exercise.
I power 93.281 Steems during the week
- I will organize interesting contests in both Steem4nigeria and campus connect community tomorrow.
- I hope to resume my Moderator work fully in the 3 communities I'm moderating on.
- I'll join engagement challenge contest
- have CRs meet up etc
As I said before it's was an interesting week full of fun 😊. I hope to be very active this week and to support and guide so many users as possible as I can. This is my report, thank you!

I am glad that you were able to accomplish all these within the week despite the challenge experienced. The zoom meeting was great and your contributions were of immense importance and appreciated by me.
Your plans for the coming week are great, I am anticipating the contests and your full resumption of duties as mod in the 3 communities. Weldone dear.
