Hi steemians,
July 14, 2022 was the last day of the second week on July of the curation contest for articles written in the fields of finance and technology by the Quality Control team through the SC05 account. This period witnessed stability in the number of articles upvoted on, which amounted to 125 articles, with a noticeable decline in articles that have been skipped (44 articles), a decrease resulting from the participants’ awareness and understanding of the most important conditions that must be met in their posts in order to be accepted and upvoted on.
Unfortunally we found 8 articles containing plagiarism , and the perpetrators will be defamed in the notes until do not return to this disgraceful act against the platform and all subscribers who aspire to obtain contents written with individual effort and of high quality.
As usual, we go over the most important statistics and voter feedback during this week, to conclude the report with the best articles to encourage and reward them with an additional upvote.
The observations of our curators :
@irawandedy 1st-day
In the curation period july 08, 2022 I have checked 20 posts, but 5 posts I missed due to some reasons, 3 posts are irrelevant to the Theme that must be curated, 1 posts not join to club, and 1 post curated another curator team.
There are 15 Upvotes received by users today, if grouped by language use, 10 content is in English and 4 content is in Indonesian and 1 post spain. Meanwhile, when viewed from club status, users who are members of club5050 get support for 7 posts, 3 content with club75 and for club100 only 5 posts.
No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and a curation scheme by giving a higher percentage of votes if the club status is in club100 or club75, but the quality of content remains an important point. I hope the curation method that I apply will trigger them to continuously improve their club status from time to time
@fredquantum2nd-day
Not only was the day associated with fewer quality articles, but there was also a great decrease in the volume, we received just a few articles this weekend. There was no cause to skip many contents today, the skipped publications are the ones made by the identified reward farmers, as I put it in the last report, they are being excluded from receiving upvotes from SC05.
That being said, all articles curated today are written in the English language. The number of curated technology-related publications is still lesser compared to that of its counterpart, curated finance-related articles took a space of 60% out of the total curated publications for the day.
In conclusion, there is an intense drop in the number of publications under our tag today, likewise, the quality. We look forward to a change in the running week.
@kouba01 3rd-day
As the second week July curation session, I upvoted 13 posts, which shows that I kept the same curation cadence of the previous weeks, on the other side I skipped only 2 posts with a remarkable drop by compared to the previous week, hoping that this is a good sign that shows that the majority of participants have understood what we are upvoting on.
This week there is a diverfisication in the languages with which the articles were published keeping the large part for English with a percentage of 76% and 8% for Spanish, Indonesian and Turkish each, for on the other hand, we noticed a return for the imbalance between the two areas (70% for finance and 30% for tech), after a week during which this gap was eliminated. This week too has seen an increase in the spread between items owned by club100 users to 15% compared to 61% for club5050 and 24% for club75, and we urge users who want higher curation to increase the value of the club.
The disaster for me this week, what I found five articles containing plagiarism, something that amazed me and I did not even manage to analyze it after weeks of curation without this bad practice, so I I will list these links as follows:
https://steemit.com/hive-197809/@chhabib/club5050-or-or-hard-disk-drive-or-or-by-chhabib-or-or
We also noticed 1 article with low content in terms of quality that was ignored, as well as 1 article that was written by a user after a long period of inactivity on the platform.
@steemdoctor1 4th-day
The quality of the posts today was average. I do not saw many excellent post today. This was the second week for me as a curator and I learnt a lot from many posts. Monday was the second day of eid in our area so I was a bit busy but I easily managed to curate all the quality posts within my time.
I skipped some post due to various reasons. Some of the posts were skipped as these posts were not suitable for the tag #fintech. Some other posts were skipped as the users have already received 3 votes from the SC05. Once I accidentally vote one of the user but then I removed the vote when I realized that he have already received three votes from the team.
Also, one of the post was skipped as the user doesn't belong to any of the club. Moreover, one of the post was skipped as it was full of plagiarism. Another post was also skipped as the length of the post wasn't not suitable for receiving support. Another reason for skipping the posts was that they were already curated by other teams. So, these are some reasons for skipping the posts.
During my curation on this Monday, I got a case of plagiarism. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited on the Steemit platform and I think it is completely immoral activity. So, I skipped that post and also shown the result of plagiarism checking tool along. I also gave the sources from where the content was taken. I also warned the user to be aware of plagiarism. Below is the link to that post.
@ozenozge 5th-day
The number of posts shared during my curation this week was lower than in previous weeks. However, the rate of upvoted post was high, skipped post was low. What drew attention this week was that the authors who were not voted in the past weeks on the grounds that they were suspicious, stopped writing. I think this can be seen as a sign that the suspicions about these authors are correct. Skipped posts have received more than 3 votes this week or have already received SC02 votes.
But overall, the quality of this week's content was not very high. It was generally of average quality. Again this week, while the posts were focused on finance, English was dominant in language.
I'll check back and pick the best post of the week tonight.

Today Wednesday (7/13/2022) I found new users using the fintech tag, I hope that in the future other users will join and share their posts. In total I reviewed 25 posts, of which 20 posts received positive votes. I skipped 5 posts, of which 2 posts had been upvoted 3 times in the last 7 days and the users were informed.
I also found 1 post with banned images, i.e. copyrighted. The user was informed and urged to change the image.
I found a post that the user did not comply with any club and another post of low quality, did not meet the 300 words and his explanation was superficial, it should go deeper, the user was informed.
The work is getting smoother and smoother, when making revisions to posts, as the users are getting used to the established rules.
@chiabertrand 7th-day
During my Curation this week, I noticed an improvement in terms of content quality. As usual, I skipped some few articles because of several reasons which I will be explaining below
A few articles where content not related to my area of interest which is #Fintech, other skipped articles didn't belong to any #club
One article was good but too short (not up to 200 words) and lacked an in-depth analysis, other skipped articles were articles for which the authors had already received support from @steemcurator05 account 3X within 7-days
I came across two plagiarised content.
It's so embarrassing coming across plagiarised contents. Users should be aware of the consequences because steemit Blockchain rewards users base on PoB mechanism. We should try as much as possible to free ourselves from such actions and try to produce unique articles free from plagiarism
This time around, there was an increase in the number of articles most especially articles belonging to #Finance. I hope to continue seeing quality and quantity articles published under #Fintech because we try as much as possible to reach out to every content creator to support them

In the curation period Friday, July 08, 2022, I chose a post with the theme "Review bisnis | Bisnis Tape Beras Manis milik Ibu Saya". As Best Post, the selection of this content as Top Post is based on the quality of the content that is educative and informative, the author writes about traditional cakes that are starting to be rare to find. The author writes in detail about how this traditional cake is processed and produced to support the family's economy. This is interesting content written by him.

The selected article for the day was written by a business owner who highlighted how some businesses have failed to package their products which eventually leads to selling out almost worn-out goods and in the long run have the business's reputation dented. He added the great importance and the need for business owners to look belong just buying and selling.
In addition, he has cited his business as an example highlighting how he has managed to package his products to protect them from external factors that tend to affect the products' original shape, give the products attractive arrangement, and so on. The author also discussed how packaging has enabled him to keep the products in good shape, gain more customers, maintain the business reputation, and so on.
This is an original piece and it would go a long way to helping other business owners who read it. It deserves the top spot for the day.

In an article this week, the writer, presented in an elegant and pedagogical way a marketplace site called knownOrigin Nft, which was bought by the famous ecommerce site ebay, where the author of the article believes that it will be a strong competitor to Opensea, so he explained and detailed its most important characteristics in advance, the stages of its use and benefit from it in buying and selling.
It is always good for our users to keep up with what is happening in the crypto world and write to us about what they find so that everyone benefits, so we thank the writer for his effort.

During my curation this week, I came across this user's article in which he carried out an explicit review on "Localcryptos". It is a Decentralized Non-Custodial Marketplace that allows its users to buy and sell Crytpo with their Local Currency. In his review, he showed us how we can create an account on Localcryptos, how to buy and sell ""Offers"" on Localcryptos, and finally, he carried out a real Transaction On Localcryptos by showing us step by step method with real screenshots of his transaction.
He did conclude on how Localcryptos can safeguard both buyers and sellers.
Best Regards,
