Country Representative Report, Week Ending 11/09/2022 - Club75, 167 Steem Powerup

It is the end of another week and as incumbent on me as a country representative of Ghana, i feel privileged and honored to have this opportunity to present to you my weekly report for the perusal of leadership and to also solicit for your ideas and suggestions on how things could be bettered as the days goes by.

For my report today i would be covering my powerup activities, contest organization for the Ghanaian community, weekly top 3 post report and my curation activities with both the steem-ghana account as well as my personal account. Without much ado i would jump straight o it.

This week to help with the activeness of the Ghanaian community and also facilitate participation in the club statuses i organized a contest that seeks to elicit the goodness that Ghanaian steemians have benefitted and enjoyed from the blockchain over the years.

This is to help remind members of the goodness that the blockchain holds for us so as to keep them going and also to help encourage new members who may have yet to appreciate all the goodness and greatness that comes with being on the blockchain, that way they continue to give us the very best in terms of contest and quality.

The top 3 weekly post selection is an upgrade from the daily selection, this is to give me ample time to get some of the very best post selection within the week whose work would very well deserve to be highlighted and suppported by all the various means available. This would also give members enough time to compete accordingly.

Over months members who get highlighted in this selection have benefitted in diverse ways including selection for booming support, support from the various curation accounts available on the blockchain, support from country representatives and sometimes when luck from @steemcurator01 or @steemcurator02. I am happy as to how far this initiative has come and i am keen it would continue to do more for members in the days ahead.

With an effective power of now 19,103.93 SP, at 100% manna my vote is worth $0.14. This power is a s result of my powerup activities and support from steemit blog over the years thus a total of 5000 power delegation support from steemit team adding up to my powerup help put me in this spot.

As a leader it is important that i set good examples with my curation activities by not letting my votes go to waste, which is why i do my best to ensure that members are support on a regular with my power. This helps them appreciate some goodness in terms of the content they produce and also encourage them to do more on a daily basis. For this week i was able to support 42 accounts with 60 upvotes.

The steem-ghana account is the official curation account for the Ghanaian community and has had its power build up with support from the entire community through delegations, curation trail and powerups. Currently the account holds an effective power of 17,642.69 SP which is worth $0.13 at 100% manna.

Curation is done a regular with the help of the Ghana tag, voting is focused within the Ghanaian community and on some days extended to other communities. Curation doesn't focus on only Ghanaians however great post in the community also, we also consider the club status of members too.

According to steemworld.org the account was able to support 46 accounts with 67 upvotes within the last 7 days and has a voting CSI of 6.5 Voting is alternated between country representatives and curation messages are left on post to help members know when curation support goes out to them.

Powerups are critical to our growth on the blockchain as well as the support for the entire steemit ecosystem helping us to keep the balance between the supply and demand of the market. As a country representative building my power will also help me be able to support more of my country folks that they may be able to appreciate the support they get better over the days.

For this week i was able to powerup a total of 167.241 STEEM to help boost my effective power. I am also within the club75 eligibility criteria and this can be verified with steemworld with a powerup of 241.390 STEEM backdating from July 11 with a transfer of 55 steem. I look forward to doing more in the days to come.
