I warmly welcome you all to my first report this 2023. It is indeed a miracle to be strong and be able to carry out my duties up till now. I wan to believe that you are all in good health. Let's keep pushing and giving the Almighty efforts to bless.
This past week, as always, I was able to carry out my duties as a country representative for Nigeria. It was a very busy week for me.
My report will cover the following points

As a greeter in newcommers community, I used the day that was my turn to curate publications to review most achievement posts. Majority of them needed guidance and I provided it to them. I was able to guide 27 newbies by dropping comment on the comment section of their publications wherever I see them. Most of them are already publishing in other communities without posting their introduction post while some who posted needed to make some adjustments and corrections. I am glad that most of them who followed the guidelines I gave them are presently active.
Those I verified were 15 and I voted on 22 publications that day. I was so dedicated that day that the whole of that 24 hours were just for newcomers. I had never been that busy but it's worth all efforts. I used steemcurator09 as required though there are times I voted on the wrong users but I recognized quickly and removed the votes.
I have also updated my contest that I hosted specially for newbies and I rewarded the participants.
I have kept busy with my personal account, making publications, making comments and building my steempower as well as upvoting others with the delegation given to me and my personal steempower.

As the admin of the community, I tried my best to keep the community busy by encouraging the mods to keep up with their efforts in reviewing publications.
I as well took my turn to review publications on Sunday and by that means, I guided the users who needed corrections.
I as well was able to curate publications with the community account and made sure that all users got supports. It is only after then that I moved out of the community to curate other publications outside.

Our Weekly Contests will soon start. I will make sure that the community has much traffic in terms of contests and other activities.
A lot of questions were thrown to me by users both in my personal mail and in our newcommers orientation telegram group. I was able to reply them to the best of my abilities. Here are some screenshots

As for recruitment, I was able to recruit 2 newbies this past week. I have guided one to make introduction post while the other is in the process of it. They are @patnwoko and @handc. And they stay in Aba, a different city of residence from mine. I believe they will make progress with the spirit they are showing at the moment.
Plans are ongoing for us here in Nigeria to have our first meetup for the year. It's going to be one of it's kind. I have just had a meeting with the city coordinators on how we are going to go about it and I will soon announce the date and time of the meetup in a Publication. They all agreed to the idea.uz
- To keep carrying out my duties as admin and moderator of the Communities I am involved in.
To keep pioneering the affairs of steem kids and parents community. We will resume our weekly contests to keep the members busy again.
