It is another interesting week for me. I am back to give report of the verification I did on achievement posts as a greeter in newcomers community achievement program. I will also report the curation I did with steemcurator03 as well as those achievement posts I corrected. Below are the details
Greeter's Work
The duty of a greeter is that of welcoming the newbies that join, correcting them where they have erred and verifying Thier achievement tasks. This time around, it has gone beyond that to that of investigating if such achievement post is fake or real, if the person has double accounts or not, if he is following the club initiative and so on. Note that I have not included all the Achievement posts that didn't meet up with the standard of being verified. I simply left a message for the users, telling them what they need to do.
Verified Achievement Posts
Achievement 1 is only verified if all rules are met. Like the user will have to provide a clear evidence that he or she is a real person, not having double account, a clearly hand written document on his hand as he takes selfie and upload as the first thing. And other requirements. For this week, I verified the under listed introduction post
For achievement 2, the user will demonstrate that he understands or have basic knowledge of security in steem as well as the functions of the various keys in his pdf. He also must demonstrate, along with screenshots that he understands how to transfer token to another user as well as how to powerup.
As for achievement 3, the user will have to demonstrate that he understands the content etiquette guiding steemit.
Achievement 5 series will help the user to gain basic knowledge of 4 different tools that can help him or her enjoy his steemit Journey.
While achievement 6 will help the user to understand curation, and communities.

Curation with SC03
Curation of achievement posts only comes after such has been verified and given the appropriate labels. But as I curate, I still check for other things like wether the user has received upvotes on his previous Achievement posts which has been verified, whether the user has joined other communities though that is from achievement 3, whether the user has been powering up at least 50% of his previous earnings and other rules. After all these are met, then the achievement post can receive upvotes from steemcurator03 according to the rate that has been given.
This past week, I curated the following achievement posts

Links To The Tasks That Need Corrections
In the course if my carrying out my duties as a greeter, I discovered that there are some Achievement posts that need corrections to be made on them. I left them with the needed instructions that can help them make the corrections. These ones are yet to comply. I will try to check up on them again this coming week to see if they need further assistance
Usernames | Link | AchievementType |
---|---|---|
@pteshy123 | link | task 1 |
@flourish555 | link | task 1 |
@catlossequea | link | task 2 |
Total | 3 |
With regard to these ones that needed corrections, I advised them on what to do. Most have complied and had their achievement posts verified while some are yet to comply. I will keep checking on them.
The rules are
NC: this means Not in the Club. Users are supposed to power up at least 50% of their earnings. Is not, they will be given that label and be advised to do so without any upvotes even after verifying their achievement posts. This usually make them to wonder why there is no upvotes but with the additional explainations at the comment section, they quickly do so and get the upvotes.
Exception is given to those whose introduction post has not paid out and they wrote achievement 2 or 3.
Active/Inactive: users are supposed to join other communities aside newcomers community imediately after their introduction post is verified or at worst, their achievement 2. They are to publish other contents and nit just focus on achievement posts. So when we notice otherwise, we give the label after verifying the achievement post and still explain to them that they need to join other communities. In this case that achievement post will not receive any upvotes until the user complies. This way, we are able to fish out those who just came to milk the system.
KIV: this has to do with those whose account is suspicious or did not comply with the verification rules that has to do with being real accounts.
With all these rules put in place, it is easier to identify farming accounts and fake accounts as well.
On the overall, the newbies are responding to the guidelines, at least from my region.
conclusion
Thank you so much @steemcurator01 and the steemit team for the opportunity to give my report. I am grateful to all the team members for their assistance. @cryptokannon and @inspiration for their support
See you next week!!!
