Week 1 January Curation Report of Team True Colours 3

1. Preface

As we searched for good, we came to the same conclusion: It is difficult, almost impossible and we agree we always end up with the same handful of people.

We checked commenters on a list, contest nominees to see if we overlooked anything. What do others see and we don't? We had a few tough moments finding new names but we managed as usual although we are left feeling disappointed.

Are we too critical? Are our standards too high or is it time to give up the impossible and go for commitment, art and creativity only, after all, others are doing what doesn't feel right to us.

We used hashtags to search. The use of it is poor and so are the catchy titles. The need to promote oneself is hardly present.
Besides upvoting, we left personal messages and offered help where needed.

The results for week 1 are better than expected when it comes to voting for continents, countries, communities and genders. The highest upvote was 70%.

A few of you gave us a good laugh, thank you.

This is the report on the implementation of the first week of January curation activities by "Team True Colours 3" in statistical form.

Cveta commented on a post with the title: What to do when a supertanker's helmsman goes mad? The chat is about if opinions can change and she shares a joke she once read about a man who wants to end his life till he meets a bear. This is an interesting comment because it is not only funny but also true at the same time, it is one of a series of comments made by cveta. For a short comment, what cveta did here was able to liven up the conversation in the comment bar. Entertaining.

One of the most entertaining comments written under the post titled Out-Of-The-Box: Last Chat On Your Deathbed. The contest invites commenters to respond to the questions of an interviewer showing up at the moment they are dying. Will the questions be answered? cicisaja comes up with a comment that is far from scary. The regret is there, but overall, it's an entertaining, even humorous posts where she also tells her hubby how he should handle her Steemit account.

In this piece, almaguer explores the theme of life's reflections and people's relationship with the decisions they make, and how they want to be remembered after they leave. He tells how Mistress Death pays Mike a visit in a bar because his time has come. He answers the questions she has between drinking beer and flashbacks of his past and beloved wife and replies in an unexpected way as the last question is asked to the drunkman: How do you think people will remember you? Mike has an unexpected answer followed by an even more unexpected reaction. Almaguer uses irony and dark humor to enrich his writing.

TisiTreit now replaced Tisituti 😉 sometimes I'm thinking of not leaving any comments for a week just to see the new stars on the blocks found by the team. I have tried my best to encourage a few good commenters I know to add some colors, but I think I need to find some new ideas on how to do that. I've been spamming almost all comment contests just for fun 🤭😄

Yeah I know, it's not my responsibility to encourage other to be more active. There are lots of steem representatives to do that job, but they're too busy and already had a lot in their plates. I just want to have fun with more commenters around. Perhaps, everything will be different next week 🤞 Thanks for the curation on my comments. I think I can start a fire with that kinda comments/topic 😁😁 or maybe I should use red marked comments, 🤣🤣 JK.

Thanks team again for your hard work to support those underrated steemians across the communities and countries. Have a beautiful week ahead.

It is a joy to have you back and you brighten up many comment sections and it's no problem is the threads are too long as long as there is fun. This and chats is what Steemit misses. 15 more commenters and Steemit is a vibrant place. Let's hope we do not get a burnout.

🤣🤣🤣 too bad that steemit doesn't has any comments league or comment rewarder, such as dustbunny or dustsweeper to save the dust from the comments vote.

Many chatterz around, but I think they don't have something like "sok akrab" as I have in my blood 🤣🤣 let's see

Congratulations dear 💝

Thank you sweetheart 🤗 why not join us in the comments war 😁, it's fun to some extent and it's worrisome if the thread is too long. Anyway, a few more words and comment won't hurt 😆 see you around

Honestly I'm not good at commenting and no idea on comment war and Where it can be found. You enjoy honey 😉💝

You are a really good commenter. I have seen several comments you have made this week. They are actually posts, not comments. Your comments are even better than some posts. You are a good example for other users.

Oohh.. don't compare, I've been around for 7 years and I know how to have fun with the waves, besides I'm here for fun while rewards is a bonus.

I'm so happy to see you as a curator dear friend @nishadi89 it remind me our days in 2022. We were the first batch of this initiative I still remember my teammates Janemorani, eliany, Jyoti - the light and two more names, we were seven ladies. Anyway, I wish you best of luck with this new year 2025!

Love and blessings 💝😇

You are one of the best friends I have met on this platform, Shohana. I also remember our previous curation team. You are right, our team was the first "Art curation team" 3 years ago. At that time, curation teams were just starting. There were 7 people in our team.

Our team had something special that other teams didn't have. All of the members were women. Ours is the only curation team with 7 women. "The Perfect Seven" is the name of our curation team. I actually feel a little sad now that I remember the past. 🥺😥 I still remember everyone in our team well. @jyoti-thelight, @eliany, @janemorane, @cindycam and @alena-vladi. The strange thing is that these names are still on my keyboard. When I type now, the names just came up.

Several teams competed under the Art theme at that time, but our team got that precious opportunity. I still remember that moment. Even today, I am grateful to the steemit team for that. For giving such a precious opportunity to the 7 of us.

Thank you so much, Shohana, for reminding me of the past. Love you 💕💕

Love you too dear, such nostalgic memories 😍😇💖

Well, you made something clear...
