Report as Steem Representative, 26.04.2024

Well, this is my first report after being re-choosing, so I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Steemit team for their trust. It is nice when you are chosen from among many worthy candidates. It means that someone believes in you, it means that what you do has some meaning for someone. So - thank you.

I hope my followers don't read my reports, because again I couldn't figure out how to make it interesting. So let's get to the boring part 🙂.

My recent activity

I've been spending a lot of time in the Newcomers' Community lately. I've been reading Achievement 1 and managed to find some that caught my interest. I've come to the conclusion that we should spend more time on the newbies, and I don't just mean Achievement 1, but the other newbie posts as well. I hope I will manage to find time to pay attention to beginners. In the meantime, I want to draw your attention to a post by a beginner author from Germany in case you would like to support her.

I made changes to my little WOX Blogosphere Magazine project. My goal is to motivate authors at least a little to write cool posts, so I share with them the reward from each post. This is a microscopic step towards the idea that those who try to write interesting posts for readers are more rewarded.

Another project of mine called "Prizes for activity", although it was created with good intentions, can provoke the appearance of spam in the comments. This has not been observed yet, but now there are reasons to believe that this process has begun. Therefore, I may stop its holding or somehow rethink its format.

I also remain a moderator in the WORLD OF XPILAR community, a board member of @wox-helpfund and enjoy curating in Team1.

Steem promotion

The world deserves to know about Steem, so I'm extending my humble efforts in that direction as well. I'm running a Steem Instagram Promotion Contest using the @steempromoution account. The increase in the prize fund significantly revived the participants.

Thanks to your support, I have funds for a paid Steem promotion campaign on Instagram. At the moment, I launched another campaign aimed at English-speaking people with interests in the field of blogging and creative writing. This time I was able to allocate UAH 1,500 ($39) and expect to reach up to 30,000 accounts. The campaign is currently awaiting approval (sorry, screenshot in Ukrainian):

I don't forget about the promotion of Steem in Twitter, oh, I forgot again, in X. This is where I share content that I think might be interesting for people new to Steem.
