My Steemian friends,

It’s been another dynamic week here on the platform, and your “voices” have been heard loud and clear. I have read some great posts, and what I enjoyed most of all was those posts that shared information that was not known to me and post on “the lighter side.”

Always think outside the box when you write your posts.

Events and other activities

World Smile South Africa

Last week I mentioned Lucia’s Feed Scheme in my feedback. Over the weekend, the project grew from 50 to 65 children that were fed. What was amazing was the fact that there was no donation up until Thursday.

After publishing a post in the community, all 65 kids received food on both Saturday and Sunday. The need is great!

I am currently waiting for a date for all those who are involved in the project to meet. Once we have met, I will be able to share the outcome with the Worldsmile team, and we can put a concrete plan into action.

I've also made myself available to help with the handing out of food this coming weekend with the hope that I will learn more and also to see where help is needed.

General

A helping hand was lent to nine Steemians on WhatsApp and Discord, and various others via the platform.

▸Africa:

My main focus is still on Africa.

Advice was given to two Steemians from Africa via WhatsApp and the “How to Be Unique in 7 Days program” was shared with ten Steemians.

▸Curating team:

Assistance was given to one curating team.

▸SEC20 Helping teams:

Assistance was given to two of the teams.

Issues encountered:

Oh yes! I experienced an issue this week. One that was caused by myself.
I always tell Steemians to be extra careful when they click on any of the buttons. Double check before you post or before you continue. Well, I was in a rush when I did my power up, and instead of transferring to vesting, I transferred to savings.

Don’t do what I have done! Double check your post, your entries, and the actions you are about to take.
