Week 2 of the team freestyle initiative has come and gone. Before anything else team freestyle is delighted for being the first to participate in this really interesting twist.
The teammates of team freestyle carefully selected have found a way to work with each other through understanding and good mutual relationship. No curator has a fixed day but even with this dynamic the curation runs smoothly with every member of the team commiting to thier chosen time.
With team freestyle we work with open hearts, open eyes and open mind. With initiative behind the forming of our team we can vote on posts that fall short of the standard steemit rules. We vote all quality posts including posts with no club, not steemexclusive, authors who use bid bots and posts less than 300 words. Also quality comments are very much supported by our team at a fixed percentage.
For week 2, we did the job with the total curation number almost exactly as last week. This week total curated posts (comments inclusive) stands at 176 posts.
In the posts curated, a greater percentage of the posts were in communities. Nevertheless we still found a good number of posts that were posted on personal blogs.
Within those 152 posts curated were a variety of different languages from different nationalities. We curated posts from a total of 11 different languages with English topping the list as the most popular language.
Team freestyle also voted on posts from authors that are not following the club statuses. The number of posts that were voted for people not in clubs was more than the posts of those in clubs.
Some users post for fun while others want to be serious but don't know how to follow the guidelines to avoid plagiarism. During this week we came across 2 plagiarized posts. When this happens a comment is left to alert the blogger.
Top 5 Posts of the Week
During the curation process there's always that one post or sometime posts that that when u read you just want to read again. So here's the presentation of the 5 best posts of the week carefully selected and approved by the 5 curators of Team Freestyle.
I) Selected by: @yousafharoonkhan
Reason: I liked this dairy post very much because in this post a father shows his love for his child by how he feeds his child. Then he narrated his day through the pictures in a very beautiful way. I love the scene of a father's loved with his child. That's why I think this is a great post.
II) Selected by: @ridwant
Reason: The writing is not long, and at first glance it is not interesting to read because it is not rich in language and is not developed in a great writing style. But this Writer has inspired us with some of his honest, creative activities and gives a great sense of social sensitivity towards his cute younger sister. He is an older brother who has extraordinary love at his young age.
III) Selected by: @josevas217
Reason:I like that post because it has a good technique, plus it is a very original work. It is painted with coffee, it is the natural paint used by this young Venezuelan artist. He has a good blog, with very good works of art. In the simplicity of the drawing you can see the mastery he has of painting and drawing, it is really very good.
IV) Selected by: @wase1234
Reason: The user speaks about knowing one's self is a well put together creative writing posts. The writer speaks of why it's almost impossible to find out purpose on earth and how the rich find passion in their day to day activities and why the poor jump from one job to another. All these falls under knowing one's self.
The user though being in no club is aware of plagiarism and doesn't fall into the mix of it. His post is well engaged and made up of copyright free photos.
V) Selected by: @weisser-rabe
Reason: The author deals with a very special topic that contains both a medical-historical and an ethical component. If modern western medicine, medical research, would regularly remind itself in the same way of the cruelties that have already been (and are being) committed in its name and would face up to the responsibility of never again subordinating human dignity to scientific curiosity, the world would be a better place...
Statistics of the week and the best posts have been presented. Week 2 was really interesting and we are looking forward to reading great posts from all round steemit in week 3. Hoping for less plagiarism and more comments to curate.
Thank you for a good report and a very interesting collection of selected posts.
