It seems to be a question people struggle with, not me but it is. There's even a book with the title "what if there's not a meaning of life" (free translated).
If you think about it this can be a shock. Imagine you are born raised to be useful with the idea life has a meaning and you shouldn't waste time but be productive.
My mom never pushed me to make something out if my life. To her a useful person has nothing to do with being productive, a career, getting married and so on. She wants me to be happy, as happy as possible. It doesn't matter if I lay on my bed or change into a couch potato as long as I take care of myself and can afford to do nothing.
I'm differently raised from her. No religion, no restrictions, no locked computer, forbidden sites or games. There's nothing more I could wish for me. If I look around me I truly believe I am way more fortunate than she is and the generation after me. I do not feel guilty about being useless or living a life without goals. My life is good and I hope yours is too.
See @wakeupkitty for this contest which you can join too, no restrictions.
Everything would be easier if we would't think or bother about a meaning of life. Animals don't they live.
