The good, the Bart and Loki
The Simpsons have a new crossover, it is the animated short film "The Good Man, the Bart and the Loki", with which they will be incorporated into the Marvel Universe thanks to the fact that both franchises belong to Disney, this short film was released that was released on Wednesday June 7th
In its six-minute length, the animated short "The Good, the Bad, and the Loki" makes fun of almost everything. From Marvel with its parody of several central dialogues and the current star of the house. Voiced by Tom Hiddleston himself, Loki arrives in Springfield.
The short film has something of a humorous joke about the network's newest phenomenon. But actually, the fact of the recent popularity of the character is more ironic from a naive point of view. In fact, it bases most of its effectiveness on the fact that Loki seems to have become the center of discussion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For the occasion, the director takes up the story of Loki of Asgard. Apparently, the director has taken the plot of the short very seriously and begins with an exile of the Bifrost himself.
Once again, Odin insists that his most wayward son will be banished. And to the question of where the hell it will be sent, Loki receives the most unexpected answer. "Springfield!" Yells the All-Father before kicking Loki straight to the unlikely destination, where he is greeted by an enthusiastic and carefree Bart.
Of course, the group of writers did not miss the opportunity to joke with the Marvel franchise. There is an obvious reference to what we can see in "Thor: Love and Thunder" with a Lisa starring in the central moment of the plot. We can also see The Avengers of Springfield and several of the usual characters in their superhero version.
The real irony comes when "The Good Boy, the Bart and the Loki" pokes fun at Disney's control of the brand. One of the characters holds up a sign that says "this is what happens when Disney buys Marvel."
Characters such as Milhouse (Hawkeye), Lisa (Thor), Ned Flanders (Ant-Man), Ralph (Hulk), Barney (Iron-Man), Carl (Nick Fury) or Moe (Vision) stand out; as well as Bart and Loki, who are themselves in the series and change roles in a very strange way.
