Community, if you're planning to go to the movies this weekend to see the latest Marvel movie, Captain America: Into the New World, let me help you avoid wasting your money because I swear there's no reason to see this in theaters. In fact, if you save that money, I'm sure in a week you'll be able to watch this movie on Disney Plus because this really smells like a flop. I would love to be able to say something positive about this movie, but there's really nothing you can say. If this movie were a superhero movie, its superpower would be to make us sleep for two hours. Imagine spending $180 million rewriting the script several times, reshooting it for years, and all just to end up taking a two-hour nap. And no, it's not a pleasant nap, one of those you enjoy, but one of those where you wake up confused, wondering what just happened here.

Oh, I wasted my time and my money. God, another failed attempt at reviving the magic of Marvel. And if I'm honest with you, this isn't even a movie. It looks like an episode of a television series. It's not even a Captain America movie. It seems like a sequel to The Incredible Hulk, that 2008 movie with Edward Norton. Only since the actor who played General Tadeus Ross died, they cast Harrison Ford, who, by the way, is so committed to this character that he didn't even grow a real mustache. Even if they had given him a prosthetic, and yes, he acts well and is believable, but these two actors are supposed to be the same person, and you guys think they look alike, for God's sake. Try a little, put some effort into it, even if it means giving him a little mustache with a Sharpie.

On the other hand, Anthony Maky does the best he can with what he has. But the truth is, he's not worthy of wearing one. Captain America's shield, and yes, they made a whole series about him to convince us that he's the new Captain America, but even with his vibrano wings, he doesn't have the charisma and presence to play a leading role like this. Anthony Maky isn't a bad actor, but he doesn't have the strength to hold a leading role. He's a supporting actor, and that's why everything he stars in fails because he doesn't have the strength to hold a leading role. And the worst thing for him is that here he doesn't even seem to have much to do because this isn't his movie. This is a sequel to Hulk, not Captain America: A New World. It's not a terrible movie, but it's boring. Yes, it's better than Madame Hevo or Quantum Mania. But it's still an average movie. The direction is weak, visually, there's nothing exciting. The action scenes are adequate, but they don't offer anything spectacular, or at least nothing spectacular for a 180 million movie. Even I'd say I would dare say that the action scenes against everyone are much more exciting.

The score in this film is not memorable at all. Sometimes it's too loud and distracting, and the story is uninteresting and the dialogue is pathetic. A run-of-the-mill film. Captain America: Into the Wild is sold as a political thriller, a genre that Marvel had already exploited quite successfully in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but here the truth is that the political intrigue is felt It doesn't have the same level of tension to keep things interesting, and look, I swear I didn't go to the theater expecting this to be a gem or to be.

On the same level as The Winter Soldier, but at least give me the basics. Give me a little fun. Give me something entertaining. Give me good times, interesting characters, something, but this movie doesn't even give you the bare minimum. It doesn't give you the bare minimum. Remember when Martin Scorsese was criticized for saying that Marvel movies weren't movies, that they were more like amusement parks? Well, today, Marvel movies don't even reach that level. They're not amusement parks because they don't even reach a town fair. Watching videos of the spinning nun game is much more fun than watching a Marvel movie. For God's sake, you'll see this time the plot revolves around a conspiracy to destabilize the United States. Yes, once again, General Harrison Ford has recently been elected president, but he suffers an attack. That's how Captain America with wings investigates the case and realizes that the government has lied to him and used him, not only that.

fact he discovers that white people use people of his skin color and when they no longer need them, they get rid of them. You guessed it, this movie tries to address racial and political themes. Only here, these themes feel more like a checklist than a genuine reflection. I mean, they feel like they weren't part of this story, so when Captain America with wings discovers that it's the president who's behind it all, he explodes and turns into the Red Hulk, a Savage Beast that is impossible to defeat except with The Power of Love. Yes, you heard right. The Power of Love. And it's that since Captain America with wings is not a superhero. I mean, he's not a being, he wasn't a soldier who took a serum. Maybe he's just an ordinary man with a suit, a shield, and wings, not a superhero. Well, the writers gave him a superpower.

And that's the superpower of speaking nicely. Yes, you I swear it's not our hero, he speaks nicely and thus wins the battle against the Red Hulk, and yes, you guessed it, it's a load of rubbish. This movie is a load of rubbish, but community, I'd love to know what you all think about this movie if you've already seen it, and above all, what rating you would give it. As always, I tell you, this is important so that the people in the community who haven't yet seen this movie will decide whether or not to watch it, thanks to your comments and ratings, and not just take my opinion. The truth is, although I don't think it's a lousy movie, it still has all the same problems that recent Marvel movies have, for example, the cheap villains who are a waste of actors and characters. The action scenes, which should be the heart of any superhero movie, are quite flat and unexciting.

The only good thing is the final scene with the HG, but other than that, we could Compare it to Craven's The Deer Hunter, even though the title promises a new world, in reality, the film doesn't take any risks, it doesn't present new ideas, nor does it Break New Ground. It's not a bummer, but it's an average film, and that's why for me it's a meh. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either, and although I didn't expect much, I was disappointed.

Before I even had access to this one I had already been told that it was trash and wasn't going to be worth my time. I decided to check it out anyway though and the people that warned me were correct. I don't think there are any redeeming qualities for this movie because even the very expensive CGI looks fake and dare i say, stupid, at certain points. There are a ton of plot-holes also, and I think the massive reshoots that made this budget skyrocket had a lot to do with the changing political landscape in the country of origin. These days, Americans are quick to boycott a film if it is so much as perceived as being DEI or political brainwashing and I suspect that the original product was absolutely filled with exactly that.

what we get in the end is a slog of a film that doesn't even really make sense with a ton of plot holes. Well done Marvel, well done.

I didn't make it all the way through this one as I was annoyed about 1hr 20 minutes in. I do know that it managed, barely, to almost break even in global sales and these days with huge budget productions, that is probably considered a win. By the time they license it for streaming, it will be in the green again.

If they made the movies exactly like the comics, it would be something else, but it's nothing like it.
