I think he uses Steemit to sponsor his blog and other social media. After all, Steemit is also a social. Too bad he's not interested in interacting with all steemians, he would get good publicity.

Probably as you say, today he gets help from AI but I think like you, the idea is cute and original.
I'm not against the use of AI, the important thing is to be honest and specify that it was used for the content or images, so that the reader knows what they are looking at or reading.
Then it's the conscious reader who chooses what to read.

Reviews I post on Steemit are derivative in nature. I'd like to point out there is a note on each post linking the original version of the review.

I agree. I did vote for a few out of support but won't do it again. I am not willing to help those grow who take the easy way out without even sayin "hello".

But next to that a bit of variety wouldn't hurt since all entries start looking the same if you read a few or so of the first lines. It's not attractive to open and read any longer.
