Oliver Tate - precocious teenager, an incurable romantic and sentimental dreamer, which nobody takes seriously.
Oliver's main goals are to preserve the falling apart marriage of his parents, as well as to lose virginity before the onset of sixteen years in the arms of the girl of his dreams.
Why watch:
The film won the 2011 British Independent Film Awards:
- "Best Screenplay"
- "Best Supporting Actress"
- "Best Directorial Debut"
The picture very colorfully shows all the simplicity and at the same time the depth of teenage drama.
The film will be useful both for adolescents themselves (in my childhood this film influenced me significantly) and for parents - for a clearer understanding of youthful drama.
It's a sin to deny yourself a British comedy drama;)
