Fargo: The series you didn't know existed but you needed to see

I don't know how long Fargo was on my waiting list, maybe from its premiere in 2014, until about two weeks ago. I was bored looking for what to see and I saw that cartoon with that unmistakable red typeface. I would like to say that "I decided to give it a try" because that would be an offense to this series, because to be fair Fargo is, without a doubt, a work of contemporary art.

If I had to describe the plot of Fargo, I would tell you that it is about good, evil and the long struggle between the two. We have those heroes that we easily empathize with and those immoral villains that are just gross. Each season tells us different stories that are subtly connected through references and hidden details that we will see around the entire plot.

The common thread of each season is the emergence of a conflict in which heroes and villains interact in the most primal way possible: the villains want to get away with it and the heroes seek to prevent them at all costs.

Watching every episode of Fargo, without exaggeration, I felt like I was watching some of the best series I have ever seen in my entire life. It is that the obsession with the detail of the production, direction, script, photography and a brilliant performance. Fargo gives us simple stories but with a plausible rhythm. Every detail contributes to the construction of the story and the surprising characters that they present to us. One of the things that caught my attention is how they get those secondary characters to interest us and not show them as a simple filler for the story. His dialogues with tiny but important details that allow us to internalize these brilliant stories

The Fargo soundtrack leads us powerfully into every sensation and feeling that the characters live on screen. We are presented with a beautiful consonance with the design of the production and photography

Fargo is a universe where little by little a puzzle is assembled that tells the wildest story about heroes and villains. It is ruthless and violent on screen, but it is leveled with a black humor that is appreciated because it appears in intelligent moments and is appropriate and brilliant on screen. It rarely happens to me that it makes me sad to finish a series, because I feel that it is something good that little by little is ending

Without more to say, I recommend Fargo, a Netflix gem that few know is there, but when you see it, you feel that it is the best you have seen in your life
