Oh, can even writing about a series make people so happy? If we are talking about the series Anne with an E Yes! this is possible. The CBC production series is one of the most beautiful content you can watch on Netflix. I am sure you will love Anne with an E if you love period series, growth stories, TV series / movies that wink at women's rights.

I want to start by saying that there are a few content you can watch with your family on Netflix. When I say it can be watched as a family, do not think it is boring, it is a very enjoyable and curious series to watch. I believe that people from all age groups will enjoy watching. A series of tutorials for certain age groups and an inspiring series for all age groups Anne with an E.

Anne with an E, L.M. An adaptation of "Anne of Green Gables" written by Montgomery in 1908. Another adaptation of the book, which is included in children's literature, was made in 1985, but since I have no knowledge about it, I include it in the article.
While the 20 seasons could be watched, the series that started in 2017 made the final with its third season in 2020. This is the only thing about me about the drama. Apart from that, the actors, the scenario that develops as the seasons pass, the change of characters accordingly, clothes, of course, LGBTQ, feminism, racism, freedom of expression… all of them make me very happy.

If we come to the subject of the series; Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert are blessed with the arrival of Anne while waiting for a man, in Canada in 1890, on Prince Edward Island, who want to adopt a child to help with household and farm work because they are old. Although at first they wanted to "give back" Anne because we wanted men, then they gave up and Anne succeeded to enter the hearts of both the people of Avonlea and the audience.

I was asked to describe Anne in a word, I can say imagination without thinking. There is an incredible dream world and this feature was the most important thing for Anne to survive while bullying in the orphanage. In addition, his interest in reading and the success of his writings at school stem from this feature, as well. It is not an unrealistic Pollyanna positivity that has a positive character, but makes people crazy and says 'This is not the case'. A peaceful positivity that is realistic and makes the audience feel good.

Another character that I love so much that I think is drawn as well as Anne is Gilbert Blythe. A master boy who is successful in his lessons, generally smart, knows how to behave. For Anne and Gilbert, who we've had a shot from the very beginning, things got a little cramped in Season 3, but I can't do that much to give you spoilers that I'm not going to mention how it ended. But in their friendship and attitude in general, perhaps because they passed in the late 1800s, they portray a more realistic 'how to behave for 15-year-old' portrait from many TV series.

The anti-racist stance, which started with Gilbert's black friend Bash in Avonlea in the 2nd season, continues with Anne's friendship with Ka'kwet from the locals (Indian). In the fact-based event, Ka’kwet is taken by the state and closed to a school and is tried to be assimilated with many other children in terms of language and religion. I learned that the last one of these schools in Canada was closed in 1996. Shameful. Again in the second season, the issue of LGBTQ rights emerges when Anne's close friend Cole is opened as a gay. It makes me very happy to see Cole happy in season 3.

In the third season, the subject of feminism, which we may notice in the previous seasons, was gone even further and it was revealed how much women could achieve even then, especially through their teacher Miss Stacy. The mother is already a free spirit, and she is very successful in instilling this into her friends and passing it on to the audience.

Another issue that we encountered in the third season is the freedom of expression, and Anne and her friends, who started to publish a school newspaper under the leadership of Miss Stacy, are tried to be silenced by "a group of men under the direction of Avonlea". I will not talk about how they solved the situation, I try to keep the post as spoiled as possible.

Anne, I appreciate that you can remain so strong at that age, despite the experience. I envy you the energy you spread around, to get rid of your prejudices, to run for the help of everyone in need, to use your imagination so effectively, to inspire people. I hope there are people like you in the real world and they are growing more and more.
