If I had to highlight one of the many, many movies I’ve seen in my life as an absolute favorite, that would clearly be it! This film has depth. He who sees only the surface also enjoys it, but if one sees deeper into it, one can have a defining experience.
A strange storyteller sits at the shady bus stop in Savannah, Georgia. Forrest Gump saw everything and experienced everything, but did not understand everything. Not exactly the brightest mind. But his mother always said, "Only the fool who does stupid things." And Forrest Gump did nothing but be present in the XX. at every important event of the twentieth century, from the football field to the battlefield, from the club of presidents to media debates, until he finally rested in the arms of his only true love. Forrest Gump’s IQ doesn’t soar to the skies, but he’s an extremely honest and kind-hearted boy. Strange coincidences, however, help him attend all the major events in America from the 1950s to the 1970s and meet all his major personalities, including: Elvis Presley, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon. Forrest graduates from college, fights in Vietnam, becomes an elite athlete, the only problem is that he is too stupid to understand the significance of these important events.
