Hello dear friends! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm going to submit my assignment of second week in Teachers & Students community. This assignment is about "Micro Teaching". So let's start without any more delay of time.

Sample of lesson plan for Micro Teaching (Pharmaceutics 3)

Dear friend, I'm a student of pharmacy technician and currently I'm in the final year of my course which means that, at the end of this year, I will be declared as a pharmacist of category B and also as a pharmacy technician. So a few days ago, I have learned a very interesting topic in my pharmaceutics 3 book which was about Family Planning. So here I would like to discuss that topic with my students as a teacher.

This is because I think it is very important to teach the people about the importance of family planning as the population of whole world is increasing massively. Let's start to complete that task.

Subject	Pharmaceutics 3
Topic	Family Planning
Time	15 minutes
Objectives	The students should be able to learn about the family planning, its importance and difference between large and small family.
Instructional materials	A scale, white board and a marker to write on white board.
Previous Knowledge	In the previous lecture we have briefly discussed about the reproduction process and about the reproductive system of both male and female.
Introduction	After entering in the class room, I will pass greetings to the students and then write the topic name and other useful information about that topic to take the attention of student.
Presentation	Family Planning: It is the ability of an individual or couple to decide when to have children they desire in a family and how to space their children.
1	Need Of family planning: 1. To improve economic condition. 2. To improve health of mothers. 3. To make equal resource to needs. 4. To achieve universal primary education. 5. To ensure environmental stability.
2	Methods of family planning: 1. Calendar method. 2. Basal body temperature method. 3. Cervical mucus method. 4. Hormonal Contraceptives 5. Progestin only pills method. 6. Injectable Contraceptives. 6. Barrier Methods. 7. Vasectomy
Summary/ Conclusion	I will summarize my lesson by revising it and then I will ask questions to my students about that topic such as about family planning, its methods and why is it important. So in this way I can easily guess that rather the students has learned that lesson or not.

Still on assumption, while teaching your students what are the steps you took to ensure they are focused on hearing you, and if for any reason there was a distraction how were you able to tackle the issue?

Yes indeed it is very important for a teacher to make his student able to listen the whole lecture with full attention. In most of the cases, it all depends on the teacher how effectively he delivers his lecture to his students. This is because that thing I have noticed when I was in college as most of the students were very naughty who didn't want listen the lecture. So while teaching, the following steps I will take to ensure that the students are listening to me.

• At first, I will set clear instructions and rules for students to keep silence in the class and maintain disciple during levites.

• Then, I will write down useful information about lecture on white board and then ask the students to note it on your copies.

• During lecture, I will keep an eye on evey student and ask quest about the topic to the students to keep them focused and attentive.

• If I'm delivering lecture about different topics such as human anatomy, then I will use visual aids to provide the students a brief overview of structures.

• Also I will explain the lecture through the real world examples so that the students will understand the things easily.

Incase of any distraction:

A healthy and engaging environment of a class room is very important as it boost learning and make the students focused on what they are learning. But it is also a fact that some students came to the class room to tease teachers and their fellows during the lecture which try to interrupt the environment of class room. So it is very important to deal with such kind of students and the following steps I will take to deal with them and tackle the issue:

• First of all, if I caught a student talking with others during lecture then I will ask quiet to both of them to check that they are listening or not.

• If they will answer the question correctly, I will warn them and ask them to sit down and also advise them to be attentive.

• But if they will answer incorrect, then I will order them to keep standing during the whole lecture and listen to the lecture.

• If I will find students doing any other thing which are disturbing the peace of class room, then I will talk to them politely so they can understand.

• But if they continue doing that, I will kick them out of the class because I don't allow them to disturb other students who want to learn.

Recall that you have 20 minutes assigned to you to deliver your lecture or to teach the students, how were you able to manage the time? Share with us how you managed the allocated time.

Actually, for a teacher the time management is very important especial when he is delivering lecture to the students. This is because he has to manage the time of lecture which is assigned to him and during that interval of time, he has to teach each and every thing regarding his lecture. So being a teacher, the following steps I will take to manage my time of lecture.

• In the first 2 minute of the lecture, I will provide the students the basic information about the lecture to keep them attentive and focused.

• During the next 13 minute of the lecture, I will teach them the main points of my topic and provide a brief information to them.

• In the next 3 minutes, I will summarize the lesson by revising the key points which I have discussed during my lecture.

• In the last 2 minute, I will ask questions to my students about the topic which I have discussed with them so I can understand that rather they have gained the knowledge or not.
