I used to learn Español two years ago when my university lecturers went on strike. I used this free time to learn a language I have always been attracted to. I like the flow and style of the language and it is closer (in practice) to the o ly language I know - English. For example, words in Spanish like Comisión and Entertainment literally means Commission and Entertainment, respectively. Spanish artists like CNCO and Enrique Iglesias further piqued my interest. All of this encouraged me to learn the language. Once the strike ended, I lost focus. But I am done with school, so I am back on it now.

I used the Duolingo app as a soft launch to learn phrases and interactions. However, using Duolingo alone is not advisable as it will make you sound like a broken record!
Using the Steve Kaufman method, I downloaded a workbook PDF called 'Practice Makes Perfect' (Spanish specifically) which starts off with basic things like Pronunciation and Articles, then moves on to more challenging things. Listening to podcasts such as Duolingo Spanish Podcast, Spanish Beginners and Little Talk in Slow Spanish. Music and YouTube Videos will help develop quick understanding and interaction as well. I also discovered a website called LingoPie in which you can customize it's core language to any language of your choice. And of course, I make sure to speak the language which is a difficulty level. I know it would be much better if I have a language exchange partner. When I am ready, I will register on language exchange apps. One of the most prominent is called HelloTalk. I made a Japanese friend on there so it's definitely very fluid. These methods can apply to any language.
It is very important to note that learning language takes time. You can't be a pro in two months. This is a reminder to myself and everyone trying to learn a new language.

My favourite Spanish phrase is 'Ya Tu Sabés'. It means 'I already know!' :) Hopefully, I know all I need to properly learn this language. I wish every language learner good luck! Tú Puedes!
Learning different languages is good and it comes with more ideas to Excel in life. Nice write up dear.
Good luck on the contest

I agree with your point that learning a language does take time, but the fastest and most effective way is when you are in an environment where people speak the same language. try it, your language skills will definitely improve faster.
