We, from our school participated the FILIPINO VALUES MONTH this school year with a theme "Pagtataguyod ng Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansang Pagpapahalaga, Sandigan at Lakas Tungo sa Makabagong Pilipinas."

We had a slogan/poster making contest and collage making contest in our classroom during our Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) Time or formerly known as Values Education few years ago.

In my class, I gave them freedom to choose as to what category they wanted to participate. I first ask a volunteer who wanted to participate a collage contest. In this category, it is participated with groups of 5 and they will be using the following materials:

• 1/4 illustration board
• seeds
• plastic
• paper
• cloth

And I was able to create 3 groups. The remaining students who didnt chose collage will be given the chance to choose slogan or poster contest to be made in a long bondpaper. And only 1 chose poster making while the rest prefer slogan making.

The contest mechanics will be made in 2 hours and since in our EsP time we only had 45 minutes so we just let them finish it the next day.

I am the one who will choose the best output and I will pass it to the EsP coordinators, and the will choose the best 2 in each year level to compete the whole school. And luckily, among 20 sections one of my class collage output was chosen to represent Grade 10. It is already a great success for our section. They bring fame to our section even they havent make it in the next round. We were still proud of their output.
