For few months now, I've had this desire to learn polish language. I must say, I am not one to learn another language easily asides English. So I and my friend decided we should acquire acknowledge about polish.

After the agreement, we decided to use Duolingo and learn it. It's not so easy because the language sounds interesting and if not careful, you can cut your tongue or lips while pronouncing (I guess it's like that because it's not our language).

We actually decided to start taking notes, my very first word was Boy which is Chlopiec and with time, i realized it had another spelling according to the statement you're making.
The app starts by giving you some singular words with pronunciation, the it translates for you. Making it easier for you to learn.

I learnt singular words like:
Girl - Dziewcynka
Apple - Jablko
Milk - Mleko
Water - Wode
Is eating - Je
Men - Mezczyzni

Then few sentences came up where they combined the singular words to form a statement. Like;

A girl is eating an apple - Dziewcynka je Jablko
The boys have an apple - Chlopcy Maja Jablko

For the first week, you're taught some elementary before advancing.

Luckily, there's a page where you get to see other people's progress, so I could see my friend's progress and that did encourage me to go further each day.

At some point, I had missed some days because I was busy but the app reminds you to log in and learn, so when I returned, I had reached a certain level where I was now thought about greetings.

Hello - Czesc
Thanks - Dzieki
Good morning - Dzien dobry
Polish - Polsku
Fine, good night - Dobrze Dobranoc

Then after sometime, I learnt how to make some statements out of it, like;

Hello, good morning - Czesc, Dzien dobry.
The boy says good morning - Chlopiec mowi Dzien dobry.

I must say, it's quite interesting to learn polish and I'm excited about how far I and my friend have come. I will soon reach animals and how they are written and pronounced in polish language.

I would advice if you want to learn another language, download Duolingo on your apple store or play store and started learning. You can ask well have a note for it to keep your memory refreshed.

I would like to invite @pandora2010, @maeito74 and @yelitzac to join this contest, thank you.

Learning a language is not easy, we have to memorize a lot of vocabulary by writing it down and remembering it. But the most important thing for you to do every day is to practice diligently even though your tongue is stiff. I'm sure you will succeed.

I pray to succeed and be a bit fluent in polish, thanks for going through my publication.
