Introduction

Hello follow steemians, welcome to my blog once again. Hope you all are doing great? Fridays are for road shows for we promoters of steem in @steemalive community and I must say it is usually an interesting one. Today is recorded as my second time in participating on the steem road show although it was almost not held due to the absence of our city co-ordinator @samuel20 who travelled out of the city of Aba for a burial.

Our Admin @focusnow gave us a go ahead for the road show via our group chat on WhatsApp platform and as well a registration form was sent to us via the group chat to help avoid errors of different kinds in the process of collecting the data of the person's we want to recruit. We were all happy about the form because we know it will really help us alot especially to avoid wrong spellings when it comes to username, email address and phone numbers. Below is my report for today's steem roadshow.

About The Roadshow

The venue for the road show was at Abia State Polytechnic Aba. What3words and we all church that venue because of the number of students who come in and out of the school premises who had not heard about steemit and also some areas of the school departments we have not reached out to.

The road show was scheduled to start by 9:00am but due to distance from where I am, I came very late coupled with the traffics on the road and the delays that has to do with public transport. I left my house by 7:00am hoping to get there before 9-10am but unfortunately the bad roads that led to the too much traffic didn't allow me meet up. I had a 5hours journey to get to my destination. I got to the venue of the roadshow by 12:00pm. Luckly when I got there I met my fellow steemians who were already carrying on the road show so I joined them. Below are the group photos we took.

My Achievement

Today I was able to sign up two of my friends I meet in the school premises. Their names are Franklin okoro and bright Charles. Though they find steemit too good to be true because of the number of members they saw during the road show. After asking some questions to be sure of what they are going into, they were convinced and so decided to join.

It took me almost an our to register both of them due to the poor Network but thank God we finally succeeded. After signing up this two fellows I had to join the other team to continue the roadshow. At around 3:00pm I left the team so to be able to meet up my journey back home looking at how the road was while coming. I knew I will also pass through the same stress I went through while coming because of how bad the road was.

Because of the time I left I couldn't join the team for refreshments. Below are the names of the team I joined on todays roadshow.

Conclusion

Steem road show is what we do to promote steemit in our serious cities in @steemalive community. I must say this is a good initiative by @focusnow to promote steemit and by doing this we have been able to recruit so many newbies. I want to cease this opportunity to appreciate every one who has participated on the road show, as well as you the reader for taking your time to go through my content.
