Hello Steemians, how are you all doing? I am so happy to share my Steem Lagos meetup experience with you all.
SteemIt Meetup in Lagos
It held on Sunday 27th of June 2021 at Lagoon Front University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State, Nigeria.
By 1pm I started getting ready for the meetup as I was eager to attend. I traveled from my school at Idi Araba to Akoka on a very sunny afternoon. It took about an hour to get there. I attended in the company of @afunkycares my good friend and class mate.
It was indeed a great experience. I got to meet up with the city coordinator of Lagos @talktofaith and other cool steemians for the first time.
The meet up venue was really calm and serene. I purchased my Steem T-shirt at about 8Steem, made a quick change and joined the interactive session. We had small chops and soft drink😋
We got to ask our city coordinator questions where we were not clear and we were given pointers and techniques on how to be successful on the steemit platform.
She also told us about people who have been consistent and how it pays off, thereby encouraging us to consistently write on steemit.
I got a lot of information from the meetup and I am so glad I went.
I took a bunch of beautiful pictures with the Lagos steemians that were present.

As a travel enthusiast, even though the sun had gone down,I couldn't help but capture the beautiful scenery of the lagoon in close proximity to the Third Mainland Bridge (a major landmark in Lagos, Nigeria)
After the meetup, I was accompanied by some steemians on my way back to school. I thank God for safety. I arrived at school around 7:30pm. I was exhausted but my day went well.
Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed my post.
