I hope you all are enjoying the weekend in different ways.
I will like to share my diary for today which is part of my enjoyment for the weekend.
As I always do, I got up by 6:30 to listen to news. I really want to maintain this habit of listening to news every morning. Although most times what is presented in the news is always tragic yet, it keeps me informed of what is going on in the country.
After listening to the news, I had my morning worship which includes reading portions of the Holy Book, thinking deeply on how to apply the portions read and prayer. I always do this before engaging in any other activity for the day.
I already plan to clean up our premises which looks greenish due the presence of spirogyra -green slimy patches usually found on a concrete floor where water runs. It’s a strenuous work. We use spade or scraper to scrape it off the ground and then sweep it with broom. I didn’t know that my neighbor had this same thing in mind. I was brushing my mouth when I heard his kids calling me to tell me that they are sweeping my side. I immediately joined them. The kids joined me instead of the father who was on the other side of the compound.
We finished up the clean up around 11am. I took my bath and prepare a breakfast (pap and beans). After enjoying the breakfast, I started to prepare for my meetings tomorrow. I will be having series of meetings tomorrow via zoom, which today is the best opportunity for me to prepare for it. I had a measure of success but because of the clean up, I was too exhausted. I decide to take a nap, that was around 2pm. I woke up around 4pm.

My next plan for the day was to shave/barb my hair. I went to a nearby barbing saloon to have that done. Although that place is not my regular place but whenever I don’t have strength to go far, I do have the service there. It took sometime to get to my turn. Finally I had my hair shaved.

I had a good shower after that and then prepare my dinner. After eating, I decided to write about my second power up as well as my diary for today.
