Introduction
Hello fellow steemians, I am @akwashphil and you are welcome to my blog.
In the light of promoting steemit in my city, a seminar was organized in that regard and we showed up to educate people about steemit.
It looked almost impossible for me to attend the seminar because of the cloudy weather in my place. I waited for some time for the weather to clear because it looks like it was going to rain.
When it finally cleared, I took my bike and also picked @patience90 down to the venue where @charish20, @desiredlady and @debaron were already waiting for the youths and we joined their discussion.
Though the seminar was scheduled for 3:00 pm, but we started behind schedule bec the people didn't turn up on time.
Therefore, we commenced the seminar around 4:00 pm.
@pato84 was the moderator for the programme while an elder of the church who is also a steemian @debaron said the opening prayer, after which, our city coordinator @charish20 was ushered in as the speaker of the day.

She futher explained what @steemit is all about and also gave room for questions and all the steemians present answered two or more questions.
It was an interactive class as everyone was allowed to ask questions and we never hesitate to answer to the best of our knowledge.

After much questions and answers, almost everyone showed interest to sign up because we appeared on different promotional t-shirt to sink down the message.
But we couldn't sign up anyone because we started behind schedule but asked them to create a convenient time within the week and communicate us so we can come for signing up.
Finally we took some pictures, said the closing prayer and departed.
The closing prayer was said by another elder who appreciated our efforts in trying to engage the youths in making use of their smartphones to make something meaningful out of it and then @pato84 took us to his shop and entertained us with a well garnished rice and stew.

We sincerely wish to appreciate @pato84 and may Lord bless him.
Conclusion
I sincerely want to thank the @steemalive community for bringing up this project about promoting steemit to every in Nigeria.
It has helped me met with different people who have no idea how important their smartphones are to them.
I am fully ready for any promotion.

Nice reporting work. You were apt and accurate in capturing all that transpired at the seminar. We are looking forward to reading the fruitful result of the seminar as I am tirelessly doing some underground follow up job to ensure that all of them that showed interest are signed up as soon as possible.
