The joy of the lord is abundant, his mercy endureth forever and his grace is sufficient to those who seek him in truth, no wonder the book of mathew chapter 5:3 "blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven".
It is obvious that when you desire to know God or have personal relatioship with him, he will draw near to u, because its written in book of mathew chapter 7:7 " ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door be opened to you"
Worshippng God is the sole reponsibility we owe to our creator because that is the reason we were created and it is among the ways to please God.
How can we worship God?
First, is to have faith in him because without faith it is impossible to please God.
Secondly, praises; God loves praises that was one of the reasons he called David a man after his heart because David loves praising God and when ever he sin against God he ask for forgiveness and he never goes back to it.
Third, study his words; for one to know God and worship him in truth and spirit you have to study the scripture because thats where our faith lays, secrets about God, his promises and blessings to those who believe can be found.
Fourth, prayer; this is where we commumicate with God, no wonder he said we should pray without season and that men ought to pray and not faint, shows how important prayer is to God, all christains should learn to pray fervently to call on the lord for refuge because in him lies our hope.
Fifth lastly, Most be bornagain; to be able to please God one most be born again which means to repent from sinful ways and accept jesus as your lord and saviour. That was why apostle Peter told Nicodimus that he most be born again to be able to please God.
Todays service was awesome, there is joy in the presence of God and his fullness thereof, there is no day one goes to worship God and goes back home thesame way. I and my family has chosen to worship God, he is our hope and he has been faithful even upon our unfaithfulness, he remaineth thesame yesterday,today and forever. What God can not do does not exist.
