13th November, enroute to Lagos State University to promote Steemit. I, @essygold,@simone00,and @greyc of the Eagles Team of Lagos Nigeria were together on the journey to LASU. We all gathered at the home of @essygold at around 10am in the morning, before heading out we had a chat on how we were going to approach people and the message we were going to share to them, we also had our flyers handy and a book and a pen to write out details of the people we were to meet. We first took a group picture.
While leaving for LASU we met some onlookers at the bustop who were marveled at the outfits we wore which had the description WRITE POST EARN. We talked to them about Steemit, but most of them thought of it as some cumbersome thing to do.
We took a bus from Anibaba heading to Iyanoba Road, but we were stopping along the Iyanoba Road because that is where LASU is located.

We put on our face mask to respect the COVID19 protocols being taken by the school. Now at the LASU Campus.
We immediately began speaking to people we saw to get their interest @essygold was able to get the interest of some students just coming from the Exam hall, who agreed to give out some details for their registration. I also took the initiative to try get some people’s interest at the market just right at the schools campus, and even tried handing out flyers.
An hour and half was spent by me in trying to have discussions, after that I told the rest of the team members that I had to leave, but they were still willing to continue.
On my way returning from LASU, I met a long time friend in school who I introduced Steemit to, she said she was busy, but I promised to check back on her.
On getting home, I met a neigbour and started telling him about Steemit, and he picked interest and he is to give me his details soon to start up his registration.
Am sure you enjoyed my Shout out Saturday. Thanks so much @steemalive for the opportunity given to me to participate in sharing the Steemit Social Network with people. I will do more next week.

@anthony27 you did well on your road show day in Lasu. Convincing people to register and join steemit or become a steemian is not an easy task especially when you're just starting. So don't give up.
