Greetings every one, is been a while, I thank God for this great opportunity to write here and am writing on the topic Investment & Savings. And we will be looking at the definition of Investment & Savings , the differences, examples , important and lot more.
MEANING OF INVESTMENT & SAVINGS
Investment is an asset achieved or invested in to build wealth and save money from the hand earn income or appreciation . It's primary made to obtain an additional source of income or profit from the investment over a given period of time.
While savings is seen as the money set aside for emergencies or for future purpose. It refer to the money that a person has left over after they subtract their consumer spending from their disposable income over a given time period.
Is therefore, represent a net surplus of funds for an individual or house hold after all expenses and obligation have been paid.
EXAMPLES OF INVESTMENT & SAVINGS
INVESTMENT:
There are many examples of Investment, but we are going to look at three exams and they are:
STOCK :
A capital raised by a company or corporation through the issue and subscription of shares.
It's liquid made by cooking bones, meat, fish, vegetables slowly in water, use as a basic for the preparation of soup, gravy, or sauces.
CRYPTOCURRENCIES :
This is a digital currency that can be used to buy goods and services, but uses an online ledger with strong cryptography to secure online transaction.
COMMODITIES :
A raw material or primary agriculture product that can be bought and sold.
SAVINGS
Savings has many examples, but we will look at two.

Pension account

INVESTMENT :

(2) Properties.
(3) Shares.
(4) Defensive Investment.
SAVINGS
(1) Specialty savings account.
(2) Money market account.
(3) Cash management account.
(4) Certificate of deposit.
THE DEFERENCE BETWEEN & INVESTMENT SAVINGS
Saving can also mean putting your money Into product such as a bank time account.
Investment means using some of your money with the aim of helping to make it grow by buying assets that might increase in value, such as stock, property or shares in a mutual fund.
CONCLUSION
INVESTMENT may connote many types of economic activities, economist's normally use the term to describe the purchase of durable goods by households, businesses and government.
SAVINGS means different things to different people. To some , it means putting money in the bank. To others, it means buying stocks or contributing to a pension plan. But to economists, saving means only one thing , it's consuming less in the present in order to consume more in the future.
