Good afternoon my fellow Steemians. Happy Sunday to you all. How was service today and how has been your day? I hope it is going on smoothly. I will like to share with you about my home town with few pictures I was able to take.
I am a native of Ilupeju Ekiti, oh! the name sounds indeginous... No it is not as you have thought it would be. Ilupeju is one of the town in Ekiti State(You surprise am not calling it a village? Don't downgrade my home town), Oye Local government. Some of us would have heard of federal university Oye Ekiti(Interesting thing is Ilupeju is more civilize than that Oye Ekiti and has a land mass greater than that of our Oye Ekiti).
Ilupeju is made up of social and basic amenities such as Good pipe borne water, Good and tiles road, Health care centre, equipped and innovated schools, A microfinance bank, Gigantic religious centers such as churches, mosque and shrine, Well equipped security personnels and others you can make mention of. We have the second largest market in Ekiti State(where the largest is built in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital). This market was constructed by the indigent of my home town with supports from those outside the states and abroad and the state government. Ilupeju has four well recognized hotels.
The major occupation of the indigenous people of my home town are:Farming, Civil Servant Teachers, Traders and pensioners. My home town has 5public schools and about 8private schools. Obalatan Commercial high school is one of the ancient school in my home town founded in the year 1971.
Here is a picture to describe few things about my home town.

I think you all enjoyed the little description about my home town. An adage says "You don't judge a book by its back" so as you not judge my home town by its name. With these description am sure it isn't a small or a village type as you had thought mere hearing the name.
