Good evening my fellow Steemians. I hope u all had a wonderful day? I will like sharing with you how I spent my Friday for burial and Church programme.
I woke early as usual today. I quickly went through my books as usual but this time around I had enough time unlike the 30minutes I do spend on it before. There was no car to clean because the car which is supposed to be taken out had been in the mechanic workshop since the previous day(thursday). I went through my PDF soft copy handout for about 2hrs.
It was 9:30, I left the books to wash my dirty clothes.
I was almost done with these clothes I received a call from my daddy who has been with his mechanic early this morning. He called to help him with a car kick in the house. I left the clothes for my cousin while I went to deliver is errand.
I got to the mechanic workshop, I gave him the kick and he instructed me to wait for him that he will soon be done. As if I had already knew before, I had already gone with my small laptop in case he holds me down. I opened my laptop inside the car and continue with the reading I was doing this morning. I decided to revise on what I had read in the morning because in such scinerio revision is the best I can do as the environment isn't conducive for reading.
It was 11:30am, the mechanic was done we drove home as I quickly take my bath, prepare myself for the funeral ceremony.
I drove daddy to my mum's office to join us for the journey. I drove them to the Funeral ceremony which was 1hr 20minutes away from my town. We got to Ido Ekiti which is about 40minutes drive from Ado when the car back burst. We changed it as we commenced with the journey.
I drove all the way from Ado Ekiti to Osun Ekiti. We arrived Osun Ekiti some minutes past 1pm. We couldn't attend the church programme because we were late. So we joined them at the reception. We spoted a place and had our seat under the canopy.
I quickly throw call to my girlfriend whom I told before coming that I will be in her home town. Not long after the call she came to meet me.
I got my own food while we both left to the car to have our discussion. We gisted a lot.
It was around 3:30 my dad and mum and some other people who wanted to join us to their respective location came to meet us in the car while we drove off. I had to drop my girl friend who stays just 10-15minutes away from the funeral location to her town(Otun Ekiti).
We arrived Ado Ekiti exactly 5pm while I dropped my mum and dad on the way to join them in the ongoing 3days revival while I drove the car home.
The revival ended 7:30pm while I have to join them back the instruments, chairs and the rest to the car which will take it to the church.
We then left for the house. We prepared our dinner. Semovita and Okra soup was taken for dinner. Presently am planning to read for just 1hr before I read the wake up very early to read because I have a lot to cover.
That was how I spent my day with Funeral and Revival programme.
Thanks for taking your time reading this post. I still remain Bammytee.
