Steem Meetup: Mentoring the newbies on how to apply markdowns and checking of plagiarism. Training @energyking on how to write diary game and the right tags to use.

Recruitments and mentorship program is our goals. To achieve it successfully, we Organized weekly meetups in our training center to help our recruites, the inactive ones and the old members too. This training took place on 16/4/2022. I and @ijelady was the instructor's. We discussed on the following topics.

• How to apply markdowns and the importance of it.
• How to check plagiarism on our post.
• Our new face of Promotion.
• How to get our t-shirts ready and
• The use of tags.

• Markdowns is the first thing our team coordinator @ijelady thought us was markdowns and how to apply it. She made the newbies to understand that Markdowns makes our post to be neat and also readable. She puts it clear that the curators can not read our post if we do not apply markdowns on it. Those who doesn't know how to apply it properly, copied it out on a piece of paper.

• How to check plagiarism, this was the next thing that followed. She let us know that plagiarism can make us to be disqualified from contest. And if we are regularly caught from that action, we will be muted totally from the community even on Steemit as a whole. So, she makes sure that everyone has this tool, www.duplichecker.com to scan their post before posting it. I assisted @energyking on how to do it.

• The tags was the area I future in. For the sake of our old members who became inactive. Now that they have returned, it will be unfair if we don't teach them the right tags to use. Apart from them, our newbies also have intereste in Steem Promotion. Letting them to know those tags will help them to attract curators to themselves and also help them to grow fast in their Steemit journey. I wrote out the tags on the board and asked them to read the latest update about curators from Steemit team.

After the training, we discussed on other things like, how to carry out our Promotion and get our t-shirts ready for work. After that, we took a group picture. After the picture, others left while I was busy with @energyking. I helped him to write diary game, his first post after Introduction post. I showed him how to apply markdowns, titles and tags. Is a new week of work. Thank God for keeping us alive. We are going to do more this week, and still hold our training on Saturday. We train on other days too. So, feel free to ask your questions and join us to invite more user's on Steemit.
