Introduction.

Life in this world can be hard and, it can also cause us tears and pains. But in all, we trust in God for straighten to face challenges of life. I have hard many bitter moments in my life and good moments too. For the sake of this challenge, I will share One of those bad and good times with you.

It will comprises what lead to each of them, what I got wrong or right that day and, moral lessons from those experiences. First, let me share my worst day with you.

The worst day of my life, 1/4/2022. (My Elder Sister's first grandchild/grandson got lost in my house)

On April 1st 2022, something terrible happened in my house. Honestly, I haven't heard such a thing in my life neither have I had such experience in my life. When I came back from work on 31st night of March 2022, I went to my sister's house to pick up my dear daughter. On getting there, I had some times with her and her children before taking my live. While I was going, her grandson followed me up. He always took me as his second mother up to date.

I tried all possible best to convince him but he ran outside weting for me to come out. I had no choice than to take him along with my child. When we get home, I prepared tea and bread for them. After eating, we played for a while and asked them to sleep so that I can do something else. They wanted to sleep on the floor due to heat, but I insisted that they should sleep on the bed because of mosquitoes.

I was dragging with them because I needed to cover them with mosquito net. But their is another problem, am living close to the main road. Which is our street road and, the road was on construction. So, the dust was much as well which made me to lock up the windows. I told them to sleep on the bed while I keep the door open for a while with cotton down. I was awake till 12:00 a.m. But the weather was still hot. So, I still left the door open. Unfortunately, I slept off.

I letter feel a cool breeze blowing on my body. I stand up immediately to lock up the door. Guess what? Both of them are no longer on the bed. I quickly search for my phone and switch on the light. It was some minutes to sharp 4. I found my daughter lying down on the floor with mosquitoes full all over her body and, my sister's grandchild is no were to be found. I searched everywhere in my room and couldn't find him. I run outside to see if he is outside still couldn't see him. I run to my sister's house to know if he went home and he is not there. Oh my God, I run mad. We started looking for him all over the streets and inside gotta till 6:00 a.m. but couldn't find him. That was when I became a walking corp's.

Before 7:am., I and my family members are already in the Police station to make an entry. After 50 minutes, my sister's phone rang, guess who was calling? There school gate keeper. He told my sister that his grandson of 2 years and 5 months walked inside the school premises around 2:00 a.m. My first question was, is he alive? And I get a yes answer. I jumped outside the police station and start running home to welcome him back in life because I was almost dying out of fear and what poeple will say.

My look that very morning and my sisters grandson Alvin

What contributed to my worst day/what I get wrong or right that day.

Waking up from sleep and my sisters grandson whom I always call my husband is no more longer on the bed with me spoiled my day. It became more worst when I couldn't find him for hours. Because I was crying bitterly while looking for him.

What I got wrong that day was not locking my door. Is even better he was bitten by mosquitoes than losing him. On the other hand, I started searching for him immediately with my family members. We backed our search for him with prayers and, Jehovah God returned him back to us. So, I can say that, it was the right thing I deed that day.

Lessons learnt.

  • I will never keep my door open again when am with children. Or only me more expecially at night.

  • Learnt to be very careful in life.

  • To pray to God when facing worst days. I prayed that morning and God answered me and delivered me because by now, either am death or mad.

The best day of my life 10/4/2016. (Giving birth to my beloved daughter who is now 6 years and 2 months.

She made me a proud mother

While growing up as a child, I keep asking myself, how do my mother gave birth to me? Will I ever become a mother and so forth. On April 10th 2016, God blessed me with a bouncing baby girl. Though I passed through lost of pains during labour, but seeing myself become a mother took away the pains.

What contributed to my best day/what I got wrong or right that day.

It was a dream comes true. Those questions I was asking myself I got all the answers that day direct from God because, he gives me the child. Actually didn't get anything wrong that day. I did all I was asked to do in the hospital which includes moving around. At a point when the pains was much, I began to speak in tongues 😂. Dancing without musical instruments 🤣. Oh my goodness! It's something every woman needs to experience.

Lessons I learnt.

  • Always obey instructions from my health practitioner.

  • Mother's needs to be respected because they passed a lot within the period of 9 months.

  • God's gift of a child do wipe away labour pains.

  • Etc.

Conclusion.

Hope you find my stories interesting? Am happy to share those moments with you. I will still share others with you when the matter arises. But for now, I want to invite @nsikakedem, @prudent85 and @focusnow to share their own stories with us.

The days of your troubles are actually very bad after that. And the experience you have gained from these difficult days is exactly right. These experiences should actually be inside each of us. If we are in danger, then we must be in danger, then we must pray a lot to the Creator. This will allow us to get rid of that danger very quickly.

You are correct my dear friend. It was my prayers to the creator that saved me that day from the danger am into. Imagine someone's grandchild getting lost from my hand. Thanks to the almighty.

He told my sister that his grandson of 2 years and 5 months walked inside the school premises around 2:00 a.m

Don't you think the boy might has sleep walked into the school premises?

As a kid I realise that I used to do that a lot. Mostly I will sleep in the room and when I wake up around 2:00am I will be lying on the sofa in the hall. There was actually a time where I opened the main door to our house and went out at around 1 am. I only realised I stepped outside after I came back home. The scariest part of it all was that no one actually knew that I went out of the house.

At a point when the pains was much, I began to speak in tongues 😂. Dancing without musical instruments 🤣. Oh my goodness

😂😂oh my God you really did that?

I’ve never really been to the hospital to see a them bringing in a woman who is in labour. I think one time I was in a ride when a man stopped us to take his wife who was in labour to the hospital. Upon arrival we had to take her in.

When we reached I was asked to tell the nurses to come and help us but they insisted that we allowed her walk. I was saddened because I thought they were being wicked , immediately the lady saw the nurse coming she got up with full force and started walking 😂. I don’t know why they fear the nurses though.

Did you experience this too?

My brother I deed Experience it oh! If you don't do what you where asked to do you are in trouble because, they might even abandone you when the real labour comes for you to pass through more pains. Nurses, don't joke with them ooo. Their mind strong oo

😂😂oh I taught the situation was really bad in Ghana alone. I taught it was bad for them to do that but later on my mom explained it to me. She told me that they do that because a pregnant woman in labour should be abele to walk, if she is not able to walk then there is a problem .

Sure there is a problem but not all depending on ones body. Some don't even know what is hard labour or walking up and down. But just delivered their baby. That's why you hear women give birth in the market or inside her husband's car 😂

😂😂oh yes yes now I get it. I always thought the women who did that could not handle the pressure and stuff. Even though it is a factor I now realise that those type of people do not find labour that hard 😃

My dear is not really easy o. Even me, I was not able to endure the pains oo. That's why I started dancing without music been played 🤣. I started shouting self and the midwife ask me to stop shouting 😂

That worst day story is very touching. It is better told as a story than that the worst happened. It can only be Jehovah that protected that child. I am glad he was found. Imagine what could have happened!

The lessons are great! Please do not leave your door open no matter what especially at nights.

Becoming a mother is a thing of great joy and watching them grow up gives much joy. Raining them up to become responsible adults is also another blessing. Keep up your efforts. The blessings of Jehovah makes rich especially as regards childbearing.

Seriously Ma, the shock I had that day hmmmm, it's only Jehovah that knows. I was confused on what to do. All my body was shacking. It's only God that knows how it happened. I can't still imagine how that boy walked into the school compound. On the other hand, I thank God that their gate was open that night because poeple where there for a night vigil.

The funniest part of it that they all ran away when they saw him coming 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣

Children can always make someone to be scared especially when they go missing. It has happened to my neighbors times without numbers. But thank God the child was found in a police station.

Being a mother is every woman's dream and thank God it came through in your case. Congratulations.

Thank you my brother. See me oo, a child that is not even my own. What will I tell the world. I really thank God for delivering me o. Since then, am always careful and he never sleep in my house again. Village poeple can be very wicked.

Lolz that's good oh, before they will say you have used him to do ritual or you've sold him off. Thank God for divine intervention.

My brother. Because my child was there and he was the one that got lost. Even my family members and the whole world will not believe me. The shock I had that day, I don't wish it to anyone

Wow. I can relate, that scenario is uncommon especially when your child is still with you and the other is no where to be found. Thank God for seeing you through the storm. Greetings ma'am.

It would have been a different story oo. How can my child be there and the other lost?

Will my own family even believe me? Thank God for delivering me ooo. I will still celebrate it in a special way.

Yeah it is needed

Thank you very much for this kind words my sister. I will do exactly what you just said with full trust that God will help her be a good child I always dreamed for her

Hmmm. Thank God. Maybe by now you will be cooling at the police station for selling baby. Hmmm children. My dear to be a mother is not easy ooo

Cooling down in a police station is under statement because I personally won't be able to endure the pain. I would have taken my life than to receive bad words from poeple

Yeah their school is very close to the house. But, I keep wondering how he managed to get there by that time of the night. Thank God he was later found ooo. I don't know where I would have been by now

This is very true. It's good the little boy was found and he returned in one piece.Oh really, their school was close by.I am sure you have learnt a few things from the experience.

Sure my dear. I learnt a lot that day. The funniest part of it is that, it's my first time of keeping my door open and such a thing happened that same day. Great lesson indeed. Thanks for your nice comment

Alvin can be very surprising at times......what even gave him the courage to go out at such ungodly hour. I thank Jehovah that nothing happened to him.

You've been a great mother, children are a gift from God

what even gave him the courage to go out at such ungodly hour.

My sister that's The question we keep asking ourselves. Even my neighbors started shaking because it would have lead to mass arrest. In all, Glory be to God for changing the whole story to something else.

Ofcourse you need to be respected, what mothers pass through is no small feat for the weak. Im glad she has made you proud

Oh yes. Mother's do pass through hail o! I can remember vividly that when my pregnancy was about 7 months old, I found it difficult to sleep at night due to waist pains. I stopped putting on pants 🤣😂.

And can't even get up from bed without someone assisting me. Hmmmm, to be a mother is not a small thing oo. Make we respect women.

I had done this too as a child so i was told by our family member and my mom, happened it was a festive period, we had visited a family member and on the second day of the festival, i was no where to be, i had walked like 600meter away from home, a security man saved me as i was about to cross the road, he detained me till i was found, i never remembered tho, but it did happen since then my mom never loses sight of me until i was old enough to move freely
I wonder the kind of stress i had out all if them through because it was a mass search
Any time we visit for the festive celebration, they refer me as “is this not the boy the was lost that year, i have grown and they were surprised because i had height but i was young”

I smile now when as i remember the incident

Greetings and blessings

Hahaha, are you serious? Chaii, that day it was a massive search here too. Not really a small stress oh! I was mentally stressed up. But glory be to God that you where found and he was found too. Appreciate your comments.

You are welcome and I am dem serious

Woo!! I felt sorry reading your sad worst day. I imagine myself in that position, what people would had said if you hadn’t found him.

It always advisable to lock your door when sleeping because even animals can enter if it’s open.

Every woman dream is to be a mother.

My dear, my door have never been open since that day till today. What will poeple say if he was not found was what kept ringing on my mind. Thanks so much for your nice comment. Am always careful now.

That’s good to hear. Good luck

Oh my God, I run mad. We started looking for him all over the streets and inside gotta till 6:00 a.m. but couldn't find him. That was when I became a walking corp's.

I still remember that day ma'am, I was in the farm with Mom. After the news mom started praying, the news got us worried but with God all things are under control.

Hmmmm, it really shocked all the neighborhood. But in all I appreciate you all who prayed for his return. God answered us all because by now it would have been something else. Thanks so much for your concern and prayers.

It's nothing, as Christians we are taught to always help one another by praying for one another...

Yeah, we need to pray for each other. And I must confess that all the prayers was answered by God. Because it would have been a different story out together.

Thankfully nothing bad happened to the child before you found him.

Raising kids is a difficult job but I think it's one of the joys of motherhood

My brother that has been my prayers that nothing should happen him. At the end, God answered me ooo. Glory be to his holy name.

Raising up children is not an easy task, but with God, we can help them to become somebody.

Your sad day experience almost got me into tension because of what happened to your sisters grand son. Till now I don't still understand what transpired before your sister's grand son left the outside and was only found in the premises of their school gate. However, I am happy for the kind heart gate man who emmidiately called to inform you people of the where about of your sister's grand son. And not more to that, he was in good shape and in good condition. I am so sorry for the tension you went through that night

Children are blessings from the Lord and I'm glad you where able to answer all your unanswered questions as God blessed you with a pretty beautiful daughter. Extend my greetings to your daughter

Same here, I don't understand what happened. It's only Jehovah God that knows. In all, i thank God for bringing the boy back safely.

Honestly i continue to praise Jehovah that nwe found him alive, the story would have been so complicated to tell and those listening, i don't know how they would have concluded it.

Yes, I Thank JEHOVAH for bringing him back safely to us
