Her Diary series 1

This is a diary of a young aspiring young lady who found her way to the universe in the late 90s. She's a dark lovely kid who from childhood became so independent, abused at a tender age and engraved in her fears...

Wondering why she couldn't say a word to anyone? She feared her abuser would hurt her more or maybe no one would believe her... The first time she was molested and told someone she was beaten for saying such, so the fear wouldn't let her talk...

The little miss grew to become very strong, knowledgeable, skillful and very pretty. She was so against gender inequality making everyone see her as a trait... What can I say, she was trying to make sure no one had to go through what she went through...

Days had past, weeks past, months and years but she still couldn't say a word. Because of her stand for inferiority complex and gender inequality she was tagged stubborn, disrespectful and many more to mention... I must say I loved her courage... Dues to this she was again left in her own world, yes she lived with parents she had a parent to care for her but never felt the love.... It's really hard to believe but she was better off a stranger than a child. Living with people who don't believe your words or trust your doings is devastating. People who literally compare you to everything around them. People who don't give you the chance to express and explain or defend yourself can be so fraustrating I guess, So after high school she decided to move in with her aunt in another town in her state hoping things could go well....

Before now dad had fallen sick 😩, couldn't go to work, and things didn't go so well at home, they little princess and family couldn't feed well, dad's medical bills was increasing and she took a job a week after her highschool examination 😩... Such a little girl trying to earn for family, her love for her family was one thing I really can't comprehend, she would cook and won't eat for her siblings and parents to eat, caring right? But she was just too young to go through all of that... Happily for her, she was spiritual, she could pray and intercede her family and little by little daddy was getting on his feet... The first job she took after the examination paid her a salary of 6000 Nigerian naira and her transportation covered 300 naira daily, worked from Monday to Saturday. Like I earlier stated she was strong, positive, independent and she was against inferiority and for some reasons people really didn't like her( still don't like her)

Issues arouse at work and she had to quit. Took another job, salary 10000 Nigerian naira and worked from Monday to Friday, issues arouse after 6 months of working there and she had to quit. At least she benefitted from working there, she was able to save to register for a joint administrative examination otherwise known as Jamb, wrote and scored 204 which was a pass... And this is when she moved to live with Aunt..

Summary

In the country where we live girls child have little or no right at all in the society. Imagine a young girl being molested, spoke to the mom but she only beat her up indirectly shutting her up from seeking her justice... A child of that age is already exposed to so many dangers but what can we do, the parents decides together with the society... This story is deep and needs time to uncover... Tell me what you think about a girl such as this one in the story... We will continue when I see your interest in this little girl. I remain your author @didi-dickson

Wow! I think she has taken a right path to be positive. Two wrongs can never make a right. There is a bright future for her if she keeps doing the right thing.

I solicit she forgives the mum for not giving her a listening ear. There is a purpose for her life, let her fight to achieve that.

What a touching story. Thanks for sharing@didi-dickson
