In the morning
At the dawn of this day, as early as 6 : 30 AM, I went out to check on a family I promised I would be coming to collect some important documents from.
However, before going, I decided to go out to the express road to see what the road is like, given that in recent times, Mondays have become, what some people call a ghost of itself in many parts of Eastern Nigeria.
What was the road like?
This is what the ever busy Enugu- Port Harcourt express road looks like.
This is on a Monday that ordinarily used to be a very busy day, after the weekend.
I saw few persons on the side of the road who are waiting for a vehicle that would convey them to where they want to go.
I left the road to go and visit the family I have in mind. After spending about 15 minutes and collected the information I needed, I came back. Back to where? To my house of course, why? It's obvious that the sit at home of this very Monday would be like the other Mondays.
Whenever I am at home, it's usually a time to study and listen to tutorials both online and off-line.
That was exactly what I chose to do. I also browsed the internet to check on what is happening in the world of crypto currencies and more.
AFTERNOON
In the afternoon, I decided to go back to the express road again to see what the road is like. Coming again in the afternoon, the pictures tell the story
Across the road, there was a yellow bus carrying people who are not going very far as you can see
I waited for about 15 minutes, in all, I saw three buses, in what seem like one in every 5 minutes, These buses are loaded with passengers and two of them even have luggages.
My little tourism is over, I went back to the house and continued what I have been doing. This time I took some time to lie down, though not to fall asleep, but just to stretch the body.
EVENING
I thought about going back to the road again, but decided that it really doesn't make much sense, the active part of the day has already gone.
I continued my stay-at-home for the rest of the day.
If you are living in the Eastern part of Nigeria, what was your experience this Monday? Share with me, while we look forward to the next day that will eventually be the beginning of the week's activities
Till then, thanks for staying at home with me
This stay at home saga is really serious ooo. God will help us indeed. The picture quality is really nice.
